We do not have the Hungarian air line in the Italian tree yet. We have already said we have considerations for Hungarian aviation in the future. Italy was one of the first nations to receive a modern Generation 4 fighter with it’s F-16. Sweden and Britain will now receive their Gen 4s after waiting much longer than the Italian tree.
At the moment they are not tied to a spesific upgrade.
is there any plan to make it so?
i personally think that making reports is going to be very hard without some sort of guidance and there will probably be a lot of repeats of reports of features you have opted to not add.
How is Gripen C able to guide Skyflash? The radar should not have a CW illuminator.
Generally in those cases, the reports are passed along as suggestions.
Understandable, I thank you for assuring me that the Italian tech tree isn’t forget. I can wait but please don’t make things too unbalanced for older planes :)
It’s almost a shame that you’ve chosen to model the A so closely to the C instead of adding an ‘earlier’ version of the A to sweden. They could have gotten the A months ago and then gotten the C now. Unless the A is getting nerfed in March, the C is going to feel a little underwhelming for them (unless it comes with AMRAAM)
neither does the F-16C and Barak, but they still use them
There is also a small glimmer of hope that they give os a VERY late C version. The Swedish defence force ordered upgrades for the C just 2 months ago that includes A LOT of new upgrades to make them interoperable with the new Gripen E (the first production version of E got delivered 6’th of October of this year). its a bit vague but “better instruments and hardware” is mentioned.
in addition to that an upgrade ordered last year includes a better engine, better “self protection”(?) and newer weapon selections.
