i wonder if we could get it added to JAS39C
98 kN x 95 % =93,1 kN if lost 5% than static so 93,1 kN x 101,97 kgf = 9493,4 kgf then why in game keep showing 8070 kgf ?
8070 kgf to 9493 kgf too far, I am not lying do math
thrust loss percentage differs from plane to plane
for example su24 loses 40% and f18 loses 0.5%
The dev’s do not accept when player do their own math.
The engine should have way more thrust yes, but the report for it needs to be created the correct way. A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)
I think the biggest thing in that report that might get it denied is this thing in the bottom right corner of the loadout image:

JAS39C 80,5 kN loses below 2% 8208 kgf to 8070 kgf
Then if
JAS39E 98 kN loses below 2% still have 9993 kgf to 9793 kgf
Then why in game JAS39E showing 8070 kgf ?
maybe but we can try
also sad that mods like Gunjob ar ignoring me :(
i believe E should have the same loss as C since they both have the same intakes
Dev server is not final. slow down, calm down. Either they will fix it soon or we can make a report for the engine with correct sources and in the correct way.
It’s dev server time, he likely gets pinged and messaged like ten times an hour at this point. He’s also a senior and shouldn’t be the first you message. You can find all the teams with their Seniors and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure).
okay
i even was in touch with him on dc becasue the leak server. he was over months the only guy with some other tech mod that respondet, but since 3 months they never answert my message or report. My report was von 3 weeks in hot issue and got not acceptet. i contactet Smin and he said its update time so that have prio. That was last update now in the next :(
honestly at this point i just think theyre working on it and thats why theyre stonewalling all reports on the engine (unless by some miracle a source of either channel loss or installed thrust figures from SAAB is found), it has exact same thrust values as gripen C at the moment, only weight is different.
the plane in game seems pretty well done so far, i cant believe they would leave the engine like that.
Applying the same channel loss % from Gripen C to Gripen E should give us around 9824kgf of thrust for the newer engine. We’re missing 1754kgf currently
Found this referring to the engine. Don’t know if its useful, but it is from GE.
But it’s still more reasonable than their justification for malaysian KH38s
Yeah, likely same with loadouts. They have the underbelly mounts modeled but the loadout options haven’t been added yet.
Gives some ratios and stats but nothing about installed thrust in gripen E specifically
Although after 30mins of searching, i still haven’t found a decent source for it, they all state the same 20-22% increase in installed thrust over RM12
