JAS-39E for Sweden

Uhm… The E is a completely new aircraft that has almost no parts re-used from the C version.

Less that it’s removed, just that saab haven’t made an effort to test it on an E yet

I have no doubts that the prototype E version are compatible, but the in service versions is another question.

Yes its completelly new but why would Saab remove the compatibility of Micas, thats just negative impact on sales

Idk gaijin seems to think so

And guys, in general don’t spam reports with bad sources and player made calculations and guesses, it’s better if we all band together for something and gather images and sources before creating ONE report on one issue. I have a lot of sources and know where to look for many things and i’m willing to help gather information best i can.

If they are building a completely new plane from the ground up they haven’t “removed” a combability. they just haven’t added it to that new version.

If you mean how it is on DEV then it’s not final yet. they are still actively wokring on it and we’ve seen changes to it already today.

is the screenshot of the Side and the doc in this report enough

[DEV] JAS39E GRIPEN E WRONG THRUST ENGINE

This should be accepted tbh

Maybe, but i think they need to know where the image came from. Right now it looks like anyone could have created it (But i personally know it’s from SAAB but that has to be proven as well).

i incloudet the file

None of the sources you use are okay to use as sources.

@Necronomica possible to be accepted ?

You have the whole presentation where that image is from? i was trying to find it but couldn’t.

Should probably be a percentage or so less considering the increased cooling (airflow) in the E.

I know the spine intake is mainly for the need to cool more of the electronics but cold air is cold air.

wdym ? I sent 3 picts as additional files for historical issues

yeah

I can’t see those. and where are those images from?

and again, please stop spamming reports before checking in this thread, you are just re-using the same links as before.
