Ordinance is still devs decision and they are used as balance tools. In cases like this things are usually forwarded as suggestions and not actual “bugs” or historical issues.

Form what I know the maw of the jas39e is capable of detecting fox2. I hope we will be able to make it to throw only flares for fox2 only.
it has maw for that thing, maw will throw countermeasures automatically if detect an missiles (fox1, fox2, fox3)
does the maw know when to use only flares/chaff for the specific missile?
