I’m from Japan and my steam account - which is what I used to create my war thunder account - is Japanese. I have not, and will never connect my account to DMM. I am currently in Canada (since September, and will be until January). The gaijin store requires that I make a successful purchase with a billing address in Canada. However, being Japanese, I only have a Japanese credit card. Gaijin store will not accept this card for the previously stated reason. I have asked my friend in Europe if they could gift me the items, however this was not possible due to “currency differences”.
The gaijin.net website states “DMM users in Japan can only send gifts to DMM Japanese players”, however I am not a DMM user. Is there any possible way for me to get anything from the gaijin store without linking to DMM? Otherwise I’m just unable to purchase or be gifted GE. I really don’t understand the logic here as it’s just preventing me from spending a single cent on the game.
