I am thinking about starting a new tech tree. I play top tier. What should i chose, france or japan. And this is mostly for ground battles, i play air a little too. So i want to know your opinion on which ground, air and heli trees are better.
I’m at 7.3 in japan and 7.7 in france.
Both are good.
I was suffering a bit in the french low ranks (rank1&2).
After that both are quit fun a lot of unique vehicles.
Regarding top tier you got 5 tanks in the french, compared to 3 in Japan.
Both have a leopard, so your decision would come to the point if you are more interested in the leclerc or the typ 10.
Overall they are both fun to play.
Decide what you are most interested in.
Air:
Wwith japan you have a lot of different jets in 1 tree. Gripen/F15/Fa18/su30mkm
But i don’t play air, so i can’t suggest you anything there.
Helis:
You have in both the AH-64E as top of the line.
So it doesnt matter which tree.

I know that france has a better spaa. As for the air, i have sweden full air tree reseached and i have gripens and f-18, and i have china almost all too (air similar to su30). But japan i think has better cas capabilities because of su30 with kh-38, but i think i could do cas with rafale too, but it would be a little more difficult.
Then the French i guess.
French 7.7 is pure joy. You will have fun.
Like i said, not an air player, but i think you know what you do and the hammer will fit fine for CAS.
