Hello all. I like new line up with jagdpanther, Tiger 2, Ostwind 2/Zerostore 45, jagdtiger. My question is should I use the Ferdinand do for battles in 2025 or not?
If you can tolerate the abysmal mobilty, take the Ferdinand for the extra armor which is quite handy at 6.7
I see that you like a more slow approach, it seems, Ferdinand is a good choice then, for comparison the greatest difference between these two are mobility.
Despite having better acceleration, Jagdpanther is terrible retreating, considering you’re in a much lighter and weaker armored platform, this is not the best position to be in, thanks to the gasoline-electric drive system it allows the vehicle going forward and backwards at the same speed.
You have the Jagdtiger that armor-wise is better than Ferdinand, just slower but the weapon is better. I’d suggest leaving a spare space for the LeKpz M41A1 or an airplane like the Bf 109 K-4 or a bomber like the Ar 234 B-2 which is pretty useful at this battle rating and has decent ordnances options.

In Jagdpanther you have a “normal” TD…aiming is hard-ish, but doable.
Ferdinand is “annoying” to play…not saying it is weak or such…just boring to play as you have to plan for very bad mobility…
Depends on playstyle and patience…
I review the answers to line my German verhicles for 6.0-6.7 again.
