RB24H was exclusively JA37, there’s no manuals predating the 90s since the flygvapnet archives only keeps updated manuals which means its not possible to see it in the manuals directly, BUT, it’s been seen in photos more than once
As for 9B-3, its just what Sweden bought, RB24 just is a 9B-3 its not modified, 9B-3 just domestically has SR116, that’s what it was designed around.

there are some 80s manual and none of it mentions 24H
I don’t think there’s any, I havent found any anyway
JL display in action if you haven’t seen / wanted to add to the older JA37C report
The DI in the tech tree is rather pointless in my opinion when they could have given the same armament to the JA-37D or ,in my case, implemented the IR OTIS JA-37 testbed which would have given the viggen IRST and HMD.
IR OTIS was completely FLIIR, it had no IRST function and worked more like TIESO than anything else.
(edit I was wrong looking back at my documentation)
RB71B is my top pick for JA37D, it would be a very nice addition to it with a new motor and seeker
RB24H for JA37C would also be very nice as RB24Js at 11.3 aren’t great
RB324 (AIM-9B FGW.2) or AIM-9B-3 standard RB24 for AJ37 and JA37C would be nice also.

Gaijin will not replace only add, TML was bc it was a prem, it will just be added on in the folder at 13.3 which does not sound fun no matter how you put it
Gaijin does actually replace premiums, it happened with the CV90105, we have hopium!!
that is what i said
There is no need for this aircraft nor do i want it swapped out, just made historical and it’d be fine at 13.0
I think as a separate aircraft it could work fine, assuming it got RB73D n stuff. the ODEN/OTIS testbed didnt have any rwr upgrades though so it would still be stuck with APP73 :(
My only solace for the viggen rwr, excluding the u95 for now, is the fact that it has 6 quadrants apparently irl instead of the 4 shown in game. Possible digitalization would be nice as well but idk if it ever was digitalized.
Also whats ODEN? Is that the HMD?
Yeah, what I meant was that APP 73 had 6 receivers just like APP 27
Maybe the addition of CW warnings reduced the angular resolution to be only useful in the four quadrants, the FMV also didn’t even want the JA37 to have an RWR, it was kept purely for the secondary attack role, maybe it was dumbed down to ease pilot work load? Either way I don’t think the 4 lights around the scope is the entire story on it

2 on the tail, 2 on the wings and 2 under the canards
