i wish to open the discussion if the DI variant had Data link which i’m not sure of but due to this being the export version of the JA 37D maybe some proof or writing from a well known article or collaborated material. The third video does mention that it did have data link up to three planes

It did, it had 4 way channel. We have a JA37Di forum page you can visit and see the list of bug reports made.

can u add redirect to mention topic for reading. i do remember one of videos mentioning it only data link up to three at a time but not sure what year current jet is modeled after

thank u for this update i do hope some of this is fixed later. one hope is added later is the use of the U95 ECM pod.

If datalink is added this unit of a jet will be so much better for its BR

Now i’m just wondering if this did happen but the aim 9m 9 could it have been used on the Viggen?
it was introduced in 1993 during the JA 37 D to DI upgrade period. any confirmed evidence?

Between 19:25 to 19:45 the video mentions something a (Jac-Link) can this be looked into and translated

In a documentary video previously posted the external fuel pod could hold 3000 lb of fuel so, i am left wondering if the 1250 liter’s currently used ingame is incorrect and should get a major bump to reflect its actual IRL capacity.

now here is something to read over, breakdown , and understand that the DI was and i quote ( The Ultimate JA37D(I) Version of Jakt-Viggan was a modern combat aircraft that in many was was superior to recent fighter designs its avionics and weaponry were regarded as more advanced than those of the initial JAS39A Production, Although this changed with the introduction of the upgreaded JAS39C version of gripen) end quote.

I know this thread is mostly you talking to yourself but there’s an internal report on the RB74s of the viggen and it being upgraded
