i came to the conclusion that the j35xs is probably one of the worst jets in the game. I fr have suicidal thoughts bc of this plane. at 11.0 no rwr the worst missiles at this br (they get flared so easily) extremely much energybleed and 6flares/chaffe. Even though the j35 is also a strike aircraft it gets no access to bombs which means your only way to grind air is by kills but with what the missiles like i said are way to bad and the gun placement is criminal. Give it atleast some bombs for base bombing bc its a strike aircraft or move it down in br.

I wouldn’t agree except that when I see Mig23 at same BR I do have to say it is not fair. Anyhow it is a good plane to use, don’t look at its stat card and think great dog fighter, but rather try and sneak between enemy masses ( the base bombing people) and fire before they see you.

It literally just went down. F-104S at the same BR is worse.
The AIM-9J is average for the BR, and you get 6 of them.

I find RWR at 12.0 only useful when against FK90, cause anything else is pretty much not going to hit outside visual range, or are not possible to dodge anyway. (Unless flying at high altitude which I never tried) At 11.0 I can only say RWR is like the cherry on top, having one, great, but not having one is also playable, although I do think the fact that it is same BR as Mig23 is a bit unfair.

To be fair, 8/10 games at 12.0 are just going to be full uptiers.
F-104S ASA needs to go down, and pretty badly so. It just isn’t on par with aircraft at the same BR sadly.
TBH, it should be 12.0 still but decompression need to happen at a bigger scale, except Mig23s are deceptively ‘bad’.
9Ls are not at 11.0 for supersonic jets, so J35XS has among the best missiles at 11.0.
No J35 carried bombs, thus cannot get them.
No J35 except the Danish variant (which gib gaijin there’s a gap in the attacker line it can fill for 9.7-10.0)
That said both the TT and XS drakens should get AIM-4’s that they actually carried
yes i am sorry about the point in strike aircraft i didnt know it was an interceptor only and in my opinion the tech tree variant is better bc it is at 10.3 with better guns and the same missiles just 2 lss of them and yes i know no flares but at 10.3 this doesnt really matter that much imo
yes i know i just heard that it can carry no missiles i saw it on tt and thought it was true
about the point with interceptor i am sorry just seen it now and the rb24j missiles are not good at all they only have range for abt 1.5-2km and get flared so easily only pull 20g
