Tbh it really depends on the plane, for example the Mirage F1 has effectively two useful missiles (not that it does very well at 12.0, but it’s mostly a compression issue).

The F-5A(G) is 11.0 with 2 9L only. And the Jaguar IS is like 11.3 with 2 Magics only

The F-5A is fine, I mainly use the 20mm cannons for kills. The Jaguar is better but that flight model is really bad for the BR so you’re missiles are the only redeeming factor. It’s kinda meh but 2 IRCCM missiles do exist at 11.3 @Morvran he might have it

Yeah, I do, and it’s meh. I know a few who enjoy messing about with the magic IIs at that BR but I much prefer the GR1 or GR1A Jags at the lower BRs for actually player a striker. Especially in ASB.
Only time I really play it is in GSB where you get a better tpod and 1 extra GBU

Yeah, im not an Air expert, i dont know how this draken would be like in warthunder.
But look. 2 or 4 missels it doesnt matter. What i need to look for is actual proof for Aim9P-4 and 5.
If the J35Ö jsut get thr Aim9P, it useless, we csn argue : its unnessery, we have the Danish F35, same same.
F-35 doesn’t have a radar and also lacks AIM-9N-2 so not entirely 9N-2 would be even better since you only have missiles

Many people are wondering where should Austria be placed, Germany has no space and already has Switzerland and Argentina, an Alpine tech tree is basically impossible because Italy is a separate tree while Switzerland (which would carry the tree) is a German subtree and Austria doesn’t have enough to be an independent tech tree, Sweden already has all of the nordic countries as subtrees and Austria would just be copy-pasting Swedish planes into the Swedish air tree (which they probably wouldn’t appreciate because they would rather have their own variants), so Austria seems a bit out of luck.
But I have a questionable idea: what about an independent Hungarian tech tree with an Austrian subtree? I mean it would work well because of the shared history of Austria-Hungary, and both nations border each other and went through similar modern histories. It would also have a nice naval tree because of the Austro-Hungarian Navy. Now sure, this would require Hungary to be removed from the Italian tree, but this wouldn’t be the first time a nation moved to a new tree, so that shouldn’t be a big problem, and the tree would be somewhat small (although still bigger than Israel and on par with Sweden and China, so it should be fine). What do you think about this idea?

Also I’m just gonna add this why wouldn’t we want more of our own aircraft. I wouldn’t be against Austria having their vehicles given to their manufacturer nation but I also don’t want to split the tree.

In regards to the Draken, the main problem is gaijin actively adds swedish Drakens and foreign drakens as prem/squadron. Most players would like a swedish draken as the next draken as it’s literally been years since Sweden was added and we have yet to get another TT draken, most would be fine with the J35Ö if it were added to the tree as an event or so, but it’s pretty frustrating that the actual swedish air has been kinda just used to get money rather than bolstering the actual variety of vehicles you can get with the TT.
