J-15T: The Flying Shark

@来如雷霆收震怒_罢如江海凝清光
Me: J-15T has a slightly worse radar than Su-30SM2.
J-15T has less countermeasures.
J-15T has 14 missile capability, identical to F-18E and top Su-30s.
J-15T’s missiles are different.
There has been no videos posted of J-15T’s acceleration so any and all claims are invalid.

So how are these facts not facts?
Prove to us and everyone here that J-15T has a better radar.
Prove that it has more countermeasures.

@庄方宜
Those aircraft aren’t the only top jets in War Thunder.

The fact you keep arguing everyone is wrong for saying 48 countermeasures is not ideal/enough is insane. Utterly insane.

Me: 48 countermeasures isn’t ideal, and will make the aircraft at least a tad more difficult to fly.

Your posts seem go out of their way to hate on Chinese aircraft… All your posts have done is personally attack everyone that love Chinese aircraft.

You can easily see the acceleration comparison between the two on StatShark.
Besides, with the official update coming soon, the actual acceleration capabilities of both will be verified.

Statshark is not a source for acceleration data of aircraft equipped with missiles from sea level to altitude.

You’re right, but we’ll find out tomorrow which one has better acceleration— the J-15T or the Su‑30SM2.

I think the second idea is really good.

Does the J-15 use BOL pods IRL? If not then ask PLAAF to stop copying Russian/Soviet doctrine and actually put a decent amount of CMs on their planes so you can feel equivalent to their NATO counterparts in a video game. Might as well ask for double missile rails too.

Only applicable to the early F-18s. Super Hornets rely on ECM IRL and don’t have them installed.

i never said that maybe if you re read what i said i said it can beat it in every speed in a dogfight its only niche now is dogfighting not ONCE did i say BVR or WVR

“it can beat the SM2 in all speeds but stall because of TVC its also lighter than SM2”

no not that i could find it uses ECM pods but thats it and refueling pod as similar to the italian 104 with the useless RWR it has ECM system which does the job instead the 48CM is just a back up

its gonna be stuck on lawn mower duty due to lack of CMs until ECM gets added

J10C at same br with same weapons will be far better option

That’s the thing… I haven’t ran low altitude at all recently. I can’t remember the last time I did, and it was prior to the F-15C GE.

Stock grinding? Climb, and rely on awareness to get positioning without dying. I’ve never run low altitude with F-18E, and while F-18E is a good 14.3, it’s notably worse than the Flanker platform, and is worse than the J-15T outside of dogfighting.

And here’s an interesting take… The F-18E is a more challenging aircraft than the Su-27SM. I don’t know fully how to judge challenging aircraft. J-15T is going to be challenging, less challenging than F-18E, but still challenging.
I don’t think it’ll be notably more challenging than Su-27SM like F-18E is, but it’s possible.

Is it even known what ECM capabilities the J-15T has? If not I wouldn’t hold your breath on it saving the day.

There is a patent that described an countermeasure pod that is compatible on J-15T, which could add up to 90 counter measures per mount. Unfortunately the bug manager said no, but you can read more about it Community Bug Reporting System here.

Well it has a fictional non 360 rwr

Based on the red border on the data card, it’s clear you haven’t used Rafale🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓

To sum up, once we’ve used up our 48 CM in the second minute of the battle, we become a flying frag rather than a shark…

ECM = we definitely need more CM as compensation for the lack of a functioning ECM system in the game. Gaijin, wake up—48 CM and top tier is killing this plane before it’s even been added. Even on the J-10C, 72 CM is often insufficient given the massive Fox 3 spam that happens at the top tier.

“Technical feasibility is what matters most.” Yet this player has already proven its technical feasibility. The rejection only shows that Gaijin applies double standards time and again.

Even after using a translator, I’ve thought it over for a long time and still can’t understand what you’re trying to say. Could you please put it more clearly?

It’s disheartening to see how uncooperative and opportunistic the people in the bug reporting department are; they don’t even give us any hope that they’ll pass the issue on for review—they just shoot it down right away…

The pod has to be proven to be produced as well.
A patent is easy.

Is there even a picture of this same pod the user is talking about?
