sad day darn well thanks for the answer

I don’t expect to see these come anytime soon as the older J-15 hasn’t been added yet and even those planes we know less of compared to J-15T. I would say China is the hardest nation to find information for.

My point exactly, but when they are introduced it would probably be along side E/A-18G growler and other EW aircraft

pl-12as are so underwhelming, got them on the j-10c and you barely notice a difference. The only good thing about them is the fact that it has no launch limits which is quite nice

And they would have to go through and add jamming antennas to many of the aircraft that are already in game
That have inherent mild jamming capabilities

Makes sense as J-15DT is stated by the chinese government to match the grolwer

I think the problem is people were expecting the Aim120D and PL12A to be some sort of massive improvement when in reality both are still the same as the previous versions but just able to go a bit farther.

It’s entirely up to whether Gaijin feels like doing it, rather than if it’s actually possible. Just look at the Mirage 4000’s countermeasures as proof.

PL-12AE is supposed to be, he’s 16kg heavier irl if im not wrong, he’s 214kg instead 198kg, but gaijin cant take the decisions about his motor

That is, if we compare him solely and exclusively to the PL-12

For the aim 120D yeah it goes further especially when you can sling it at altitude going mach 1.5 and a f15
Pl12 unfortunately has to much drag that even if you launch it at 10 km altitude going mach 1.6 it barely reaches its peak of mach 4

There was a bug report about the missing chaff cycomore countermeasure pod since the plane came out and they only fixed it 6 months ago

What are you referring to? In reality, M4K was never equipped with any countermeasures. When it was added to the game, Gaijin added a pair of countermeasure pods to the underbelly ‘out of thin air’ just to make it functional for the gameplay.

It was planned to carry the sycomor which was mentioned in documents about the mirage 4000

In this bug reports you have the sources needed and the page number

taken from the above bug report, it does have coutnermeasures

I can’t prove that our fighter jets are more advanced than drones because even drones are using the 360° Radar Warning System, while the J15T and J10C can only use the copy-paste Radar Warning System in the game

C&P from the J-7E/A-5C too, p sure you can see the darker spots on the J-15T where the rwr is probably mounted at too (iirc its a F-35/SU-57 style with receivers in the leading edges) but oh well what can one do

The most rubbish plane, the most shit made by gaijin, the most torturous torture tool for players, and the playing experience is the same as struggling in the cesspool.

That’s what happens when a game made for ww2 vehicles overextends to the modern age. Planes like the J15T simply have no place without dynamic sea/land targets, functional carrier naval groups and electronic warfare, we should have gotten the J-16 or J-11D instead

We can stop looking forward to Chinese Flanker-series jets. The J-15T, as one of China’s newest fighters—officially unveiled in 2024—has ended up as such a dismal result in Gaijin’s hands.

The J-15T represents a tipping point—future Chinese Flankers will not be significantly stronger than the 15T, and some may even be weaker. At the very least, the upgrades won’t be as substantial as the change from the Su-30SM to the Su-30SM2. What we have is a copied WS-10B engine, a copied KLJ-10A radar, the RWR system copied from the J-7E since BR 11.3—the KJ-8602, a largely unchanged airframe weight, an outdated HMS flight helmet, and perhaps a PL-12A that will never be fixed (I’m certain that if and when we get the R-77M and PL-15, the R-77M will absolutely be stronger)…

Without an ECM system, the J-16/J-11D might have slightly better survivability, and the J-16 might get two extra FOX-3 missiles. However, it still won’t surpass the Su-30SM2. In the end, future Chinese Flankers are unlikely to receive any truly significant improvements.

I wonder why the J15T can’t catapult …
