J-15T RWR and Radar lack sources

The J-15T has been in the game for just over a month, and during that time it has slowly become more and more questionable.

Smin has said they won’t just “invent” a radar, but that’s exactly what was done here with the RWR. There are zero sources that show this RWR designation even exists in the first place, yet it was added without question. Is this not going against the exact statement that was made?

This quote also leads into the radar issue as well. If an RWR designation can be made up for no apparent reason, then why wouldn’t the radar follow the same logic?

The KLJ-10A is an ~800 mm diameter radar, while the J-15T radome is around 1300–1500 mm in diameter. This simply doesn’t make sense. We’ve seen the developers make estimated guesses for a majority of systems in-game (for example, the Lvkv 9040C radar is just listed as “Search radar antenna”), this isn’t a problem of being “unknown” but instead an unwillingness to do such things.

what exactly are you suggesting?
that they remove the name?

so are you saying that you rather dont have any rwr, since there are no sources for it?

or would you rather not having a vehicle added at all then?
bc if thats the case then there will be no more indigenous chinese planes to add at top tier anymore

That’s not what I’m saying at all.

The issue isn’t the RWR itself, it’s the use of a specific designation that cannot be verified.

If an unknown RWR can be implemented, then the expectation would be that it is handled consistently either by using a generic designation or by tying it to a known designation, rather than assigning an unsourced name.

The same standard should apply across systems. If the radar does not have a publicly verifiable designation, then it should be treated in the same way, rather than assigning a specific system that wouldn’t make realistic sense to fit.
