what exactly are you suggesting?
that they remove the name?
so are you saying that you rather dont have any rwr, since there are no sources for it?
or would you rather not having a vehicle added at all then?
bc if thats the case then there will be no more indigenous chinese planes to add at top tier anymore
remove the rwr ofc /s
That’s not what I’m saying at all.
The issue isn’t the RWR itself, it’s the use of a specific designation that cannot be verified.
If an unknown RWR can be implemented, then the expectation would be that it is handled consistently either by using a generic designation or by tying it to a known designation, rather than assigning an unsourced name.
The same standard should apply across systems. If the radar does not have a publicly verifiable designation, then it should be treated in the same way, rather than assigning a specific system that wouldn’t make realistic sense to fit.
I’m pretty sure we do know the names of some modern Chinese aerial vehicles and their RWRs. From my understanding, the J-11B is mostly accurate. Something like the J-15T however is mostly fictional lmao (like the dual PL-12s).
You know exactly what the guy means regardless, no need to dunk on him…
idk what to say except all chinese (top tier) additions will be like that from now on, gajin could give them SPO-2 as their RWR and you couldnt bug report it, so just hope gajin feels nice when implementing the vehicles
they don’t physically have SPO-2 antenna
bruh you know what i mean, they can give whatever stats they want and there isnt anything you could do about it,
You’ll get things like this with very modern vehicles, especially Chinese ones where little to no information is available outside of basically tabloids and advertisements from defense expos, so Gaijin can make up whatever names, stats and capabilities they want and the player base cant actively bug report anything since all existing sources are not up to their “standards”
this is the problem that i see and have with gaijins bug reporting, i get if they allowed any source it would just be who can find the most ridiculous claims but with more modern equipment the standard should be at least slightly less strict.
Theres way less info to go off of which means anything the devs see fit they use while it couldnt otherwise be used for bug reporting (ws-10b data being from janes when refused by the bug report managers).
