Why is there no SRC PD on both the J-15T and the J-10C? Every top tier aircraft has that mode with the exception of these two. I don’t like using TWS. I like to point my nose and lock the target not have to cycle through the other team to get to one target or keep locking the closest target…any insight?

use ACM, its what all the cool kids do
that doesn’t answer my question. I use it for BVR…
Because it lacks it IRL.
Much like how the Typhoon’s CAPTOR-M radar kinda annoyingly lacks a SRC mode
If you have evidence it had a SRC PD mode IRL then you need to submit a bug report.
But why you dont want to use TWS, especially with AESA radars, is beyond me
because for the last year, TWS has been dogshit. I switched to SRC PD and it was more reliable. I just don’t like TWS.
TBH for J-15T you can’t even proof it has a radar, or that Pl-12A exists, or stuff about engine, weight, IRST, all that.
