A friend of mine states that the J 10 is better than the Eurofighter can someone help me to prove him wrong or am I wrong?

The EF has better thrust and top speed, the J-10 has arguably better missiles (some people swear by aim 120s and aim 9ms but they are just mid ngl) and the j10 has, from my experience, better nose control.
It really depends in what they are better. In a normal fight i prefer the j-10 just for the missiles and the control but in a tournament 1v1 the ef will win because it can just build so much position in the 30 seconds with no shooting.
So it really depends what you play. If you play grb the ef wipes the floor as the j10 has like no cas armament.
But one thing in general: The german eurofighter is worse then all the other typhoons. So if u want to grind one, go for the UK one as they also get the best gripen
Edit: But you can´t compare these too that much as we only got the first version of the J-10 in game, when we get the J-10C this is going to be really interesting

The EF is better just because of the massive speed, acceleration and overall flight performance improvements. The EFT also has a better radar and RWR, but the missile loadout is equal (tho there is a slight edge to the J-10).
Both are great planes, but the typhoon is clearly better.
Personally I’d say the J10 is infinitely better simply due to the missile kit, Aim9 and 120 are just way too lacking in the current meta. The EF has the better FM, CAS (although still a nothing burger) and BVR performance, any other aspect the J10 has the advantage, once we get the C and no EF upgrade, the C will be better all the way.

in BVR yes, sub 10km the chinese missiles are just so much better, the american missiles have absolutely 0 HOBS performance due to guidance delay, slow acceleration and low fin AOA for seemingly no reason.

Yep absolutly, even sub 20km
The EF is slightly better, but not by much, just enough to make a difference when it’s two pro players fighting, EF vs. J10. The second point not to be overlooked is the player. I play Chinese and a lot of J10s; I kill three-quarters of the players I encounter in EFs very easily. Some players manage their energy, radar, etc., very poorly. So yes, the EF is slightly better, but not enough to be superior to the J10 in all configurations. For me, it’s a bit like a fight between F-16As and F-16Cs; they each have their advantages and disadvantages, but both are very good aircraft
For me, the real question is, are you good pilots?
