In a uptier which is very common now that you’re fighting eurofighters, rafales and f-15ex’s with aim-7m’s and are a rp pinata. In a full downtier you’re fighting F-4J’s. Even at its current BR your still battling aim-120s and ERs which absolutely destroy aim-7’s. Never mind the fact it would make the plane more historically accurate considering the F-15A in game is a frankenstein between a late F-15A with early F-15A armarment. I would think 13.7 with the f-15C is fair or if gaijin reallyyyy thinks having no hms and a worse “tws” mode makes it that much worse they can make it .3 br less than whatever the F-15C is at even if it goes up to 14.0 eventually

Which mate somehow managed to point to in the initial post without considering it.
I would wager 13.0’s going to end up a much better matchmaker than if it goes up anyway. Only issue at present is everyone’s playing the new eurodelta stuffs.

No it’s not. There’s already an F-15 at 13.7, and it needs to be 14.0.
F-14A with AIM-120s would go to 14.0 as well.
Just use the F-15C/E.

If gaijin wanted to make it accurate they’d remove the flares not add aim120’s. You got one part of an upgrade package to make the plane playable, don’t push your luck.

??? F-15A does not win dogfights against the current top tiers, the problem is not that this would be “overpowered”.
The F-15A may not be the best dogfighter in the game, but it has some of the best dogfighting performance. It doesn’t get absolutely slapped around by stuff like the eurofighter/rafale like something like the f-15c, the old su27fm, etc
In reality it doesn’t. It lacks HMD and requires you to two circle which is not good in current air RB meta. All this is to say, it would not even be on the top 50% of meta at 13.7-14.0 currently if it had 8 amraams.
Wym in reality it doesn’t have some of the best dogfighting performance in the game?
It’s going to lose to Gripen, Mirage2k, Mirage 4k, F-16, EF, Rafale, J-10, etc
