I have considered it seriously, and I was thinking I’d spend money at some point. But if they do what we think they will I will NOT because this is such disrespect for the community

I’ve bought a good few premium vehicles, and they’re losing my cash if they make this thing premium. Pity, I was considering picking up a few of the copy-paste premiums on sale given they’re the healthiest kind…
People really do love doomposting about “the real world” and bragging about unique premiums when it’s unhealthy for the game AND community.

maybe not but the Super Kitty was able to carry AIM120A’s as well and i’ll take AMRAAM over AIM7P any day.
No different than What they did with the high tier Russian Prem and Chinese Prem with no US or Germ or UK counter to it
F14 will be ass anyway, the D version will be premium to bridge the US Premium gap F18Cs can’t fill, newbies want Fox3
Not to mention the F-14D never got the systems for the use of the AIM-120, i dont know why a lot of people here are talking about it having the AIM-120, but i still wouldnt be surprised if gaijin just gave it to it anyways.

I’m just waiting for the JDAM base bombers and AIM54 slingers, but the AJS37 got Fox3 so why not the F14…
All it technically needed was a software update, but the USN decided to fund A2G systems instead as the Soviet Union was no longer a threat.

It probably will on the basis of “technical compatibility”. If you look at the Ah-64E from other conties, the only ones that should be able to use the JAGM (regardless if they have it in their inventory), is the british and dutch. they operate the V6 which apart from v.4.5 (which no other nation uses), is compatible with the JAGM.
As far as the LDIRCM, I’m assuming it’s the same thing.
the f14 is probably gonna be 13.3 so to compete with the Su30s, it must need those 120s.

There is sadly no F-14D Early/Late options like there is with the F-14A [which has like 4+ variants under the F-14A name].
I personally think it should be tech tree.
With an F-16D as a premium instead.

I am on hopium that we might get similar Ja 37Di treatment.
Just take an F-14D from a famous unit and make it a premium, then take a generic F-14D from a lesser-known unit and make it a tech-tree vehicle, just like they did with the Ja 37Di aircraft.
I am keeping my expectations extremely low, though.

also it gets AIM-7P as it has the station to use it on the APG-71

thats a F14A with D model hardware the F14D could not just fire AIM-120s from its a sparrow pylons as it needs a adapter and a software update
its not a production model
