Skill issue. Helis are still usable (except the only rockets one), and in top tier you got unrealistic overperforming LDIRCM, and more op FnF atgms. What else you want? AH-64E vs ww2 spaa?
I’ve been stock grinding 10.3 ah6m who doesn’t not have stock msls so i can see that heli is still 300sp without agms. Heli rush matters, idc whether it’s made strong or reduced to 50sp
When it comes to the word usable, it should have a lower level sp to correspond the capabilities
In my case with the Lahatut (only 14 hydras) I grinded the TOW missiles doing rocket runs in ground sim battles with surprise close attacks (no ballistic computer).
In your case you can even play it better with more rockets and the ballistic computer.
I say usable because I rather spawn a plane with AGM-65 than a helicopter with hellfires. Helicopters even with FnF munitions have lower sp cost than a plane with bombs or missiles, so I dont see the problem.
The worst thing I see about helicopters is the extremely high number of points needed to unlock their modules. With a Br 9.3 tank, it takes me around 90 to 100 matches to unlock all the modules, while with the 9.3 helicopter, I’ve played over 200 matches and I still have the two most expensive modules to unlock. So, I’ll definitely need around 300 matches to unlock all the helicopter’s modules, which is extremely tiring.
Everything that causes cas players to suffer, is a win in my book. Every day im suffering from another soyboy that cant handle his tank, steps into a cope mechanism,.and gets a free kill out of it. Its bad enough the yak 9 is so readily available.
Its the same with artillery tanks. We all know the only reason they are being added is because gaijin wants to lessen complaints from the physically impaired, who cant aim at weakspots.

I’m not quite sure about top tier state but ppl seems more concerned about fnf heli than planes these days, so here better performance less sp is the prob

Hellfire has 8km max range, how its spaa autocannons even reaching you, Im able to even dodge them within 3km. 2s38 yeah thats more dangerous but from 5-8km just wiggle right or left and you will be fine.
Yeah thats why modification research its a problem in helis, it has almost same amount of rp than aircraft or tanks modifications. When helis tend to get less kills or even if you get the sp amount to spawn it (if we except ldircm/fnf helis)

Top tier its hell, because helis are most powerfull than planes. A plane can be killed with irist or aim9x, but LDIRCM helis are completly inmune to any IR guided missiles, and radar missiles dont work at low altitude. Saclos spaa neither will work bc slow missiles, and because of fnf missiles the heli doesnt stay in sight for much time.
