FAKOUR 90 makes up for it also you get a good SARH with R27R1 which is significantly more potent than a AIM-7M in close range
Still doesn’t have 9M equivalent of IRCCM IR missiles.

I disagree with this part, and maybe JA37DI and F-16A ADF/MLU can carry AIM-9M if we consider the F-4F KWS LV.
But those have a lower priority than the F-14B case.
Let me clear things up.
What I meant by this part is
F-14B ISN’T the only jet which failed to get the IRCCM IR missile.
There are other exceptions exists.

Sad part of this is, Gaijin believes that not giving AIM-9M on F-14B is also a cause of balance :/
F-15A has them at 12.7 lol. And the eagle is better in most metrics.

The answer is yes!! You just have to understand that you will be at a disadvantage until the gap is closed.

No missile is particularly hard to defeat except the irccm missiles.
And I’d make the argument MICAs since they have a smaller FoV then all other Fox-3s
its harder to defeat than A AIM-7M which is why they didnt drop it also since the F15A has NO TWS you cannot BVR with its similar to a F5E at its br forced to dogfight everything
