So we have R-73’s, Pl-8’s, AAM-3’s, and Magic-2’s all at or under 13.0, as well as several jets with the Aim-9M at or below 13.0, but the F-14B can’t get its historic Aim-9M…, what is this blatant disregard for the love it deserves? Gaijin, please remember you need to treat all aircraft with love, not just the new ones.

Now in 2026 Its realy need 9M mow. Pheonix is not AIM-120 and R-77 things, F-14B need a good spare FOX-2 missile in case that all Pheonix are missing the target. That in normal current Pheonix are alway missing the target becuase in 13.3 up that F-14B will always facing, Every one know how to notch and evade a more modern FOX-3 that are good performance then the Pheonix. Its make F-14B in WVR phase its only have a AIM-7M that did’t have DL and IOG combine with AWG-9 that only have a PD HDN, That make enemy easy to notch. And 9L didnt macth in current BR now. In current now F-14B are in a very bad stat then another 13.0 BR jet. Sincerely F-14B or even F-14A need a fixing in current situation now. I played when its came in Danger Zone update that facing only gen 3 jet, But now F-14 are only facing a more higth performace jet then it. Its not a reason that its still use a same loadout like when it came out few year ago. Give 9M to B model and 9L to A model didnt make its op plane but its will make F-14 all model have to recive weapon that can compare with another same BR jet. Pheonix are not good enogth to make F-14 didnt recive a all aspect and IRCCM missile. All F-14 need to recive that weapon now.

Topic about add 9M to F-14B and some 9L to F-14A was made many times. That mean many players have same problem or same thing about “Give F-14 a weapon that it shoud recive”. Its just like how gaijin do to MIG-29 and YAK-141 now in upcoming update. How come F-14 in same situation didnt get the same thin too?

Its have so many document that show F-14B can use 9M and 7P.
Last pic was the same F-14B that we have in the game, At hard point it show that carry 9M. Its have a black ring its mean its 9M.

What we have in game is(effectively) already the F-14B(U) (the post '98 configuration), as it has GPS enabled stores.
Though it is missing a number of features too.
But cockpit are not correct.
Its should be like this.

Why does it have GPS enabled stores, then; this was only refitted very late in its service life.
And yes the cockpit is missing the Sparrow-Hawk HUD(VDG-R program).
I think Gaijin model F-14 wrong. F-14B in game are B in 1991becuase livery are VF-143 that use in Gulf war. I think Gaijin didnt know about B(U) upgrade that make F-14B have capability to carry JDAM. And they think F-14B have only a one model.
The F-14B we have in game is probably the most Frankensteined vehicle we have in game: it is labelled as the F-14B,but the fact it can carry JDAMs and the EGBU-24 means it is the F-14B OFP 321 version,or F-14B(U). But at the same time,it lacks the modern HUD as well as the 9Ms and the MFDs the B(U) version has. Like, realistically there were no such thing as the F-14B we have in game.

Our Sea Harriers, most manoeuvrability of any aircraft until the X-29 came, and still even after, most could not defeat a Harrier in a dog-fight. The biggist limitation of all Harriers has always been the politicians trying to fuck it over. And that still happens, look at them in WT

Well, if we think about Gaijin splitting SHAR FRS.1 into two
-Falkland-ish version w/o dual-rack pylon as (Early.) in 10.7BR
-regular version with dual-rack pylon in 11.0BR as squadron vehicle
chances are still high /j
