Not to worry. At first I thought this two-step process was more than what was needed (i.e. should have just been instant recycling/item creation). But then on retrospect I think it’s better as I can recycle items to get them out of my inventory, but then I don’t have to create straight away (because things like boosters start to expire immediately). So I can create when I want (from a stock pile of recycled items) and also have a “clean” inventory by recycling things immediately that are useless to me.

I had the exact same process go through my head XD
One new thing that I found. The Update chests, can be, in some cases, exchanged to warbonds. Nice little addition. I don’t use them. Never bought a key for it.
I recycled a lot and got E100 and IS-7.
Excuse me? E-100 is only available through the market, you cant get it from crates IIRC
Maybe I saw it in a dream.
He’s dreaming 😆 in the created item window you can all rewards you can get (rewards button at bottom left corner).
So to clarify, once items are put in recycling, they stay there forever until you create new items? They don’t expire after 3 days or whatever?
Yep – that is correct.
Once it’s showing as a number in the “You currently have xxxx recycled and unused items…”, they don’t expire.
