they will be tested
per country testing is a legal thing, not an aircraft thing. so britain might want x+y requirements to be met to allow this to fly in their airspace while germany might want x+z requirements to be met. the aircraft can carry them either way
the consortium only cares about the jet.
can it carry it
can it launch it
can it jettison it
can it … it
they do that testing and it’ll be cleared or not
but the country might want to see idk maybe how its jettisoned and where it would land or some stuff like that. things that aren’t important for the use on the jet
But I had a hunch that Typhoon FGR.4 from british tech tree with BR 15.3 and received Meteor in 3 years or 2027 before F-2000A (ITA) and EF-2000 (DEU) because under ’ project centurion ’
In 2027 gajin could add new tranche F-2000A with AESA radar
italy as only main typhoon nation already ordered typhoon with mk 0 aesa radars, they will be the first to get them in game since those are already finished in development
Block numbers on Eurofighter don’t mean much in service. They’re mainly for contract purposes to define the hardware standard a customer will receive when they order the aircraft.
Older planes frequently get upgraded to, or even beyond the capabilities of the latest production “block”.
he probably meant that Italy is going to get the aesa first because MK0 was chosed for the initial units of the new order in order to speed up deliveries.
as il signor said, italy will get it first since the mk0 will be way faster intrigated thats only what i said
besides that spain not being part of the game
germany and spain have T4s ordered, this is the production with deliveries for 2025-2030.
Spain signed the contract for Halcon II and Italy signed that new contract now as well, those are not going to be part of the same production so either T4+ or T5.
Germany is expected to sign another contract for another 20 Eurofighters in the same production as Halcon II and the Italian contract (btw does it have a name yet?)
These new production Eurofighters will be 2030+.
The specific tranche name doesnt really mean anything but they might choose to call it T4+ if they want to retain T5 for LTE Standard Eurofighters as 2030+ allows them to build these new jets to P4E standard
