In War Thunder, Italy is one of the nations with the worst MBT’s in the game, they only consist of structural steel plates, but according to several military sites, the Ariete has chobham armor.And not just a bad chobham armor, according to several sites, the armor of the Ariete (pso/war),It would be comparable to the leopard 2a5 ,Without the PSO/WAR/packages the frontal armor should be able to stop projectiles with at least 480mm of penetration, with packs it increases to 560,And the tank hull should be approximately 420 mm,of protection against KE shells, currently even a bmd4 can pierce the frontal hull of the Ariete,the model in the game barely has 80 mm of protection, a real joke, I hope this is taken into account to at least do some justice to a marginalized tank, so that they make an idea,What I’m talking about is that the Ariete has biological protection systems, spall liners and chobham armor.
They’ve changed the weight of War armor, but not its protection. Looking how long it remains basically a “heavy air”, they don’t care much.

Both the Abrams and Ariete are trash (only the Ariete moreso) and completely unrealistic in terms of armor
