While the 5 second reload rate of PTZ-89 seems satisfactory, it should be mentioned that after firing the 10+1 rounds in its autoloader, it takes about 5 seconds before the loader begins to fill the first ammo rack and every round takes more than half a minute. That means that the PTZ needs at least 35 seconds to add one shot into its autoloader, which is significantly longer than any vehicle with an autoloader first ammo rack, and greatly restricted its firepower.
