Yeah, and this would help users fill out a bug report properly. First, they would select a vehicle, then a part of the vehicle (engine, tracks, etc.), and then submit the report.
Right now, there is an ocean of reports that are nonsense, and moderators still have to go through all of them. I personally have reports that are over a year old and were never reviewed. There are also bugs that have existed since 2013 and still haven’t been fixed.
The game chat has had major issues since Ground Forces was first released. The Direct Message (DM) system is completely unreliable and lacks basic privacy: When you DM a person, a third person can often see your private messages. You can DM person who is offline, they wont see a messages so there is no “array” and when writing in a DM, the system often glitches and merges other people into the thread, creating a 3+ person conversation instead of a private 1-to-1 chat.
I’m not just referring to the new features launched in every update, which rarely work properly. For example, the ‘Ace of Spades’ profile metric and other info fields are displaying inconsistent data. When three different people checked the same profile, they each saw different information.
I have found that at least 50% of my in game messages just disappear into the void. I have taken screenshots and shown the players I am trying to DM, even those on my friends list or in my squadron, and at least half of my messages just never show up on their end. I have basically completely given up on using the in game chat and will now only help people through DM’s here on the forums. Not only do the messages here not disappear, we can share screenshots and links to the Wiki etc etc.

Yep. I have over 200 pages of word document on bugs of War Thunder, Some over 5 -10 years old. Yet no fixed. Even there is like 10+ reports on community site :)
There are entire categories which are just left unfixed for years and i have no hope for it getting fixed. Ever
Basically anything related to
costum battles
Pve missions
Campains like the one you get for buying the zero

Highly doubt this. Most likely, what will happen is we vent here, nothing changes, and life goes on. If they really, really cared, they would already be fixing this. It’s not rocket science to check that if there are 10+ reports on the same issue, then there’s clearly a problem that needs investigation. Yet here we are.
I’ve been playing War Thunder since the 2013 launch. Nothing has changed. Nothing. Just new, not-ready content being launched, giving people even more issues. And when there is a MAJOR problem, it takes months to fix. Months.

Average is probably 1.5 years old, some are over 3 years old 👴 Also with many duplicates. I tried to make the list as useful as possible for the Bug Reporting managers to help sort through some of them. I’m hoping that the Community Mangers can pass this list over to them to try and get through this pile of outstanding KF-41/Puma/Puma VJTF issues.

Fix your DX12 and raytracing crashes. Literally game breaking
Here is the “main” thread for ongoing issues related to what you are experiencing. I would suggest posting your hardware settings and a detailed description of the exact issues you are having. I use DX12 and have had 0 issues or crashes during the last year of updates. So, while I do not think it is your “fault”, the more detailed information we can collect from users who are having issues, the better:
The Ta-152 - one of the iconic late-war german aircraft AND RELEASED BACK DURING CLOSED BETA - STILL has a broken Turn & Slip indicator.
Something which is a pretty damn vital instrument for being able to fly a plane properly in a flight sim (uncoordinated flight bleeds a ton of energy, causes accelerated stalls more easily; it also makes trimming nearly impossible making the plane more exhausting to fly than it should be.)
I just wanted to say thank you for getting the in game chats fixed.
As of Friday afternoon sometime(UTC -5) chat has been loading properly
on a consistent basis, pm’s & Squadron chat have all been working properly as well
(Something we have not seen on the weekend for a good long time)
And I was able to communicate/interact with players applying for membership
into our Squadron and make “educated” decisions about that(a real blessing)
I don’t know what was done or who all was involved in this “fix”, but it is appreciated.
@Stona_WT If you could let those involved in resolving the issue know that
the players are thankful and appreciate their efforts . … that would be cool
