Me and few other people that I play with are having an issue with “re-login” every time we launch and try and play. I’m playing from steam, but I have attempted to launch from the launcher, and its giving the same result.
The issue is that when we launch that game, it says loading modes and then sends us to the page to log in using our credentials. Sometimes, it takes 3 to 4 attempts; other times, it has been that way for hours. It can’t be a connection issue because everything else is fine, and the internet is always connected and working. When looking for fixes, the only thing that comes up about this topic is that it is over 5 years old on Reddit.
Any ideas would be helpful; we’re just trying to finish the last day of the event with our busy schedules.
Are you getting any error messages when the game sends you back to the login screen?
Have you checked your anti virus and/or firewall to see if the game is getting blocked?
Have you checked that none of the ports the game needs are being blocked by your router?
If your friends have the same issue and live close to you it could an issue with your ISP, i would check their website to see if they are having any issue or maintenance.
No errors, I checked anti anti-virus and firewall, though I already have an exception for the launcher, and it is giving the same issues.
The launcher and the game are different processes that need to be put in as exceptions separately for any antivirus and firewall. The ports are also different for the two, the ports are listed here: (https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/200070211--War-Thunder-game-ports)
Added exceptions for the game and added the ports and I’m still having the issue.
