Hello, there’s a bug when dropping multiple bombs at once, it’s excellent for base bombing, and would be also excellent if this thing disappears.
I’m talking about when selecting multiple bombs drop options (with secondary weapon ripple quantity, and with bomb series) and trying to bomb, sometimes it will drop only 1 bomb and nothing more.
Please, fix it
what plane are you using?
I don’t think that’s related, but I was using the Su-17M4 when that happened.
But I’ll assure you, that happened also on other planes, and with other bombs
it generally happens to me when I’m on the edge of going mach and dropping one bomb puts you above the bomb drop speed limit
That’s also true, but since I’ve managed to drop 1 bomb I should be able to drop the rest, in my opinion
even with ripple mode it technically drops them one at a time, just very quickly, you just have to be more cautious of your speed

This issue has nothing to do with speed. I’ve encountered it in every plane I’ve dropped bombs from in this game, recently that being the Mystere IVA.
I used to think it was an input issue, that I wasn’t holding spacebar for the entire duration of the bomb release, but here I am responding to this post after having this issue 2 games in a row after holding the input for a second each time.
Not a speed issue, not an input issue. Somewhere along the way there’s a logic issue with “Secondary weapon ripple quantity”.
I’ve had it happen with the strikemaster many times when set to double drop napalm, I’m 100% sure that’s not an overspeed.
Yep, as I said I’ve been having the issue in the Mystere IVA recently, so I’m dropping at little more than ~400 kts. I’ve also had the issue in several bombers like the B-17, often leading to me being one bomb short when dropping in pairs
For me this is very much restricted to (or more often seen with) a few specific aircraft, like (for me) Su-22 and A-5: I set ripple amount to [2] to kill a base with incendiaries, and use CCIP (A-5) or CCRP (Su-22), and often only one bomb is released, and I always take good care of my speed and pressing the pickle until after release…
