Quick question. why is the Israeli M163 in Rank 4 while the American one is Rank 5. same with the Israeli ZSU-23-4V (rank 5), while it’s Russian counterpart ZSU-23-4V is rank 6. why make it a difference?

why does the rank matter? the only thing that matters is the BR, which they have the same one.
Well, it influences the research for further vehicles. I also don´t understand these differences.
I think they did that because of the br and lineup issues to make better lineups the American one is next to 7.7 just like the Israeli and the shilka could be brought down and be folded with zsu 37-2 because of other 8.0 tanks this affects the grind only but it wouldn’t make since to have your spaa as the highest br or having it with a much higher br like hovet with 8.0 and shilka with 8.7-9.3 by the time you research it it becomes unusable for your lineup since you’ll be competing with more advanced spaa’s this is also true for the Israeli imp chaparral by the time you research it you must use it with a 11.3 lineup because it sits next to merkava mk3b and namer 30 unlike the American one which sits with mbt 70 , xm803 … At a lower rank
And I experienced it with the hovet you’d spawn next to a xm246 or the shilka sometimes by the time you see a plane and try to lock it with the m163’s bad radar it’ll be already shot down by them
Same for the imp chaparral but with the chaparral is much worse since everyone has a longer range and better radar
the simple answer is making reasonable lineups with other tanks at it’s rank
