So hello, I recently started grinding Israel and so far I have the M51, Magach 1 and AMX13.ill start by saying I am by no means a good player, I rank myself as the average or below average player.
So I know Israel is a country for “experienced” players (players with map knowledge and so on), and of course I’m not where near such levels.
So finally arriving to the question, how can I effectively flank/play my tanks right? Im getting the hand of the M51 (which I kinda like) to snipe and more over hold points and play hull down thanks to it’s great gun depression, now for the Magach 1 & AMX 13, I tried to watch some tutorials but all of them always mentioned flanking & sniping, but I find it kinda hard for myself as I really don’t know efgecient spot to snipe and or flank, as any time I try to flank I always find an enemy which is already looking at my directional dm ultimately die.
Also sorry for my poor English wording as English isn’t my first language
Any tips from you guys are welcome. Thank all of you in advance and hope you guys have a great day!
Honestly the M-51 and Magach 1 for me its the worst tanks to do flanking. Not only they are slow, but because they kinda have a big profile.
Usually these type of vehicles either you play it agressive or as ambush, because lets be real, yes you do not have a stabilizer, but neither your enemies.
So, for flanking I would recommend you to grind for the aml90, good HEAT pen, decent speed, and very small profile. In the case of the amx13 I hate it so much bc of the gun, even you would have trouble at penning the sides of heavies.
For agressive, go grind the centurions, which have a stab at a lower br against no stab tanks.
Anyway, tell me a map name you do not know spots and I will help you pointing them.
Hi! I’m also an Israeli main, and the tree is the first one that I’m trying to get top tier in. First of all, I small tip, never bring your AMX-13 or M-51 with your Magach 1, since your bringing a 6.3 and 6.7 tank to 7.7, where they could even be uptiered to 8.7 against stabilizers, thermals, laser rangefinders, and worst of all, APFSDS; all against a Sherman? You stand no chance. For now, stick with your AMX and M-51, that way you aren’t vaporized. You should wait until you get either the Magach 2 or one of the Centurions (Sho’t). A good ground AB/RB lineup would be the following: Magach 1, Magach 2 (only difference is transmission, exact same playstyle in every other way), and Sho’t. If you want to bring aircraft, you could choose to bring these planes: Meteor NF.13 or MD 450B. Also at rank 5, things can get a bit easier since you have a solid 8.0 lineup of Magach 3, 6 and 5. Hope this helps, and good luck!!
LOL I currently only have the M51 and the AMX 13 and so far this lineup is my absolute favourite in the game, being the highest BR I have with the exception of 7.0 USA
I cannot WAIT to get some of those
only problem is im stuck researching M109. After irresponsibly researching several TTs into spearheads with one vehicle I like, I force myself to grind by BR not by things I like
That is to say, I have to get all <7.0 vehicles before I move onto 7.3.
Finishing rank IV by getting vehicles that I didn’t; want was sooo annoying for me, just let me skip to Magach 3,6,5 snail!
lolll
dont skip magach 5 its rank 5 gem in the tree.
I know, its one of my favorites, and I meant skip to Magic 5
Hello! Sorry for the long time i took to reply.
I indeed went for the Sho’t, thinking it was great, but in reality it really isn’t.
Most of my 7.7 game are either 8.0 or even 8.7 which is insanely annoying and absurd for me, in addition the sho’t has a God awful zoom, legit a 1x, bad turret treverse, armor isnt even great and its slow as hell.
So i figured out until i can get to 8.0 or more ill just use the M51 alongside the Rochev, because to me, 7.7 Israel is unplayable right now.
Im certain it is also my skills that arent the best which contributes to this alot.
Thanks anyway
Hello! Thanks for the tips!
As i said above with my earlier reply, i did went for the sho’t, but im having a very hard time using it, its a constant Uptiers alongside the tank noticeable flaws, such as: Awful gunner optics (legit a 1x), bad armor, bad mobility (at least for me).
Its honestly very frustating having to play constant 8.0 - 8.7 games, in my Centurion, i won’t dismiss my clear bad skills at the game, but i feel like its a very underperforming vehicle for such BR
You are right, I never played the Sho’t, only got it so I could research rank 5 vehicles, but from my test drives, it has terrible placement. I don’t think I penetrated the test targets from the front a single time with the stock round, and compared to the APFSDS that you face in any uptier, you are shooting spitballs rather than tank rounds. 7.7 is also regarded as one of the worst tank BRs because of the technology difference. If you can get enough vehicles to move on to rank 5, start researching immediately. I personally played the M51 until I could get a full 7.7-8.0 lineup (Magach 1, 3, 6). PS about the Centurion, have you gotten the APDS yet? I never played a battle with it, but the APDS does have better pen. Sympathy for your grind issues-F16xl
I played the sho’t it actually bad (i spaded tho…). yea thats the main thing it still crap after spading. for 7.7 just play the aml 90 and magach 1 or even the m51.
Although sho’t is bad but 8.0 sho’t kal Alef is really good in fact i think its on par with magach 5. U get an improve engine and transmission, 105mm L7 apds. The improve firepower and speed does really help.
Yes, I have it spades even.
The APDS like to ricochet off any sloped armor that you can face, hell I even non penned a T-44 from the front with it… just a weird round for me… I’m not used to it probably, gunners optics also do not help a bit.
But yeah, right now I’m going for the HMVS Bardelas, because I think it can be good we’ll see, then from there I’ll go for the Magach 6s and especially the 5, and then finally the Kal Alef.
Thanks!
I heard that the Bardelas sucks, it has terrible depression and bad pen with weak armor, and has kinda long reload for a bad round.
