really this just shows that israel should have just been a USA subtree as they simply canot support themselves as a full tree.

Israel is far too large to be sustained within a US tech tree, far too much would be sacrificed for the sake of ‘israel is not unique enough to be a nation’ which isn’t true anyway

there were 2 mockups and i beleive 1 of them was prototyped… information is scare though
there was a PARS 3 SAL (laser guided) with around 10-15km of range
and a PARS BACKIMAGE which i really dont know why they made it because it looked the same as the standard one. i assume it could have MITL guidance

It would be interesting to add more early tanks to Israel. For example, the M4A1 75mm, the Cromwell, the half-track with the French 90mm cannon, the M10 with the French 75mm cannon, the M4A1 76w, and the M50 Super Sherman. Then from era 5 onwards, in Br 8.3 the Tiran 5S could be added with the M111. I would also add the M413 for the Magach 6M and the Shot Kal Dalet. In Br 9.3 I would add the Magach 7A, with the M413 ammunition and with the revised composite armor. The Magach 7C would be upgraded to Br 9.7, giving it the correct composite armor. Then the Magach 6B Gal Batash would have its Br upgraded to 10.0, adding the M428 and giving it the correct composite armor. The Merkava 2D would have its Br upgraded to 10.3, giving it the M428 and the correct composite armor.

The usage of a Sherman chasis deos not make vehicle copy-paste. A Sherman-chasis based 155mm SPH is unique, a Sherman hull with 240mm rockets is too, and even a regular Sherman that has superior mobility and protection with a lower profile can make it play differently, like a T-34.

The problem with Israel is that if you want to use very low-Br tanks, you have to copy and paste them. 75-caliber Shermans and Cromwells, reconnaissance vehicles like the Daimler Scout Car or the Humbert AC, as well as Israeli-modified models like the M3 half-track with the Tetrach turret, the 6-pdr, and the French 90mm cannon.
I’m not against copying and pasting if there are no other options. The only thing I would ask is that you look at real photos and change whatever you can in the 3D model, such as removing or adding fenders or anchors, etc., for example, changing the crew bags, removing fuel cans or relocating them, as well as spare wheels, tracks, etc., making them look like the models in the real photos in service with Israel. I hate copy and paste when they are exactly the same even in the 3D model, and especially if you can add a similar model, like for example Germany was given the M44, when they could have used the Brummbar late model instead.
In theory, the leopard 2 will never fight DM53, so why would they design their tank to have significant KE protection?
The lack of KE is entirely conjecture based on nothing but theoretical scenarios.
We know that the armor is SLERA, which at the beginning of development is stated to offer KE and CE protection.
We know the armor is modular and especially thick on the turret.
We know the CE on the turret has taken Kornet missiles (granted needed replaced since the SLERA was shreded but armor degradation isnt in war thunder).
This is all we know with relative certainty.
In war thunder, the KE modifier values on the SLERA composite is extremely low. Worse than aluminum. This does not make sense given the available information says SLERA does offer KE protection.
Do I think it could stop DM53? Probably not everywhere on the merkava 4, but maybe the turret front thickest SLERA panel. BUT, this is entirely based on no known information.
However, I do think the KE protection should be better than it is in game when compared to other material KE modifiers.
That is it. What would be the worst that could happen if it had turret armor and a breach weakspot like every other top tier MBT? (Except ariete because RIP italian boys).

CM502 dont have 25 km value and Bvvd stated why even on stream, that they dont believe such light missile can travel that far. Also they are broken and have way lower damage than they should have according to code their overpressure is even worse than AKD-9 while having more TNT eq.
The only unique thing is Merkava and Namer, maybe Pereh but even then its still just M60. It shouldnt have even been a tree in first place. Its 40 Magachs that are near identical for gameplay purposes and 20 Centurions. It even surpassed Italy in being the least played nation, simply cause they dont offer anything unique or good.
Atleast you have FnF,other nations still dont and wont, like Japan,UK and Sweden. Then France and Italy use the same Spikes as you except AH-60 have twice of them compared to Mangusta or Tigre.
Of all things you could’ve argued, you chose to talk about Israel’s CAS options? Like come on man. Prior to this coming update, it pretty much had slightly better variants of US aircrafts.
Ex:
- Israel’s F-15E getting more countermeasures
- Israel’s Apache Longbow having the ability to equip stingers while also maintaining it’s MAWS capability. Did I mention it also has more countermeasures?
- Israel’s blackhawk carrying 16 Spikes when the rest of the nations were stuck with either crappy hellfires or 8 FnF missile carrying platforms
Like I get it, their tanks aren’t even decent, their spaa situation was unacceptable (before adding the spyder), but the one thing they had was US equivalent CAS options.
Only until now, America (who had one of the worst top tier helis in game for years) finally got a helicopter that will be useful. Suddenly we get people coming out of the wood works talking about how it’s unfair.
The only people who can complain is Britain, Japan, and Sweden. (maybe even germany)
Also I’m not against the Peten getting Spikes but stop pretending that Israel was left behind when talking about CAS

Although they are very similar, they are actually separate models, and it is logical that they include them, just as in the US there are the M4A1 76W, the M4A2 76W (which they did not use in the war), and the M4A3 76W, which are three practically identical vehicles, with the main difference being the engine and the tracks.
