As a man who once commanded a Merkava Mk.4, I know it well enough to tell you it would survive shells such as DM53.

That thing is made to survive hand made CE shells from many different angles.
Worrying about state of the art KE shells is ludicrous as their enemies have none of that. Not even close.

Just because every available open source data highlights its CE protection, it does not mean it lacks KE protection.
This same argument could be said about most MBT’s in regard to active battle testing.
Just because they have never fought against modern KE rounds, it doesn’t mean they do not offer significant KE protection.

How is that possible? On the Namer Tsrikhon, they cannot even be launched in close range. You only get 4, and they tend to either lose lock or do zero damage. You need to rearm on capture points to actually get a decent number of kills with them.
I don’t really have much of an opinion on whether or not their Apaches should get FnF and increase to 12.3 or not. There is a reasonable argument to keeping at their current BRs and add another for that role or simply buffing the ones already in game with them.
But “left behind” is a bit of a strong stance when they were one of the first iirc, to get FnF at all on a heli, whilst several nations have none.

Well 43% spaded, so only a small amount of time was after unlocking APFSDS belts. Before that, the stock APDS has its moments, but the ATGM’s are the main damage dealer

Well Spike NLOS won’t be added, pretty sure it has MMW.
Israel has Spikes on the AH-60. GB are missing FnF, Japan are missing FnF, Sweden is missing FnF. Israel has more than these nations, why don’t you complain about those? I mean Sweden and Japan only have 11.7 Helicopters.
