Typhoons will just use AIM-120s.
Weapons like Meteor are entirely reliant on stealth tech for balancing.
Without stealth, Meteor can’t be added.
Meteor below stealth BRs would just kill the game mode.
That or “no escape range” is a lie told to us by manufacturers.

That’s not how that works.
“We have AIM-9Bs, that must mean we’re getting AIM-9Xs next year.” is not the line of thought you should be having.

I know the frequency swapping AESA radars have in the missiles that house them.

We don’t need those weapons, not even stealth needs those weapons.
We can be on AIM-120C for the next 2 years and be just fine, even when the first F-35s are added.
I mean depends on how things are modeled we are getting way too modern like these are literally in large scale service in 2010s if not in the past 5 years. There is ZERO ACCURATE DATA on these things, so either add R37, PL15/17 and Meteor and manually balance them like ARH Rn, or don’t add them at all.
I am 100% content living in War Thunder with R-77-1, AIM-120C, and so forth being the maximum missiles we see.
AIM-120C is the currently housed missile in most F-35s at this time anyway, and AIM-120 is the series of ARH missiles F-22 is exclusively compatible with at this time.
Of course I do think we might get into that era of weaponry, I just think that it’s further away than F-35.
Yeah, and things like PL15 with propaganda is like 150-300km range, like which one is real. For example, PL12 is considered AIM120 C competitor, yet in game RN it can barely compete with the A variant, then getting to these even more advanced stuff manual balancing is almost the only option…

Thing is, they might be compatible, but trying to prove that to Gaijing is hell of a lot of work. Just like most things in WT that are wrong ATM
we couldn’t really do stealth only, mostly because of Sweden, the gripen E needs some form of long range missle other than the amraam, in theory it would be ok for just spamraams at 14.0 or 14.3 because it would get 10 of them. but we swedish mains want the meteor, we don’t just want reskined gripens that add almost nothing to our play style.
Gripen E does have long range missiles: AIM-120.
Also it gets 6 of them.
Sweden also gets F-35 access.
There is no country without stealth aircraft access except potentially Soviets depending how far along Sukhoi’s single engine stealth project is going.
Gripen with Meteor will be a higher BR than F-35s BTW.
One time I have to agree. With how small top tier ARB maps in WT are, the stealth on the F-35 won’t really mean anything, and iirc the F-35 only has AMRAAMs.
i think the UK is integrating meteor onto the f35 but idk if that went through.
with how its looking like rn… id say 1 year and we will see meteors in WT skies this december
