That’s an event…only for naval. Not to mention it changes day after day and doesn’t count to BP etc.
I see it…Horrific implementations.
Man…
Modes :
TDM , some kind of objective type PvP , WW mode had some cool stuff in it. SPAA vs planes for example, dogfight mode/Air superiority… etc.
In my head i can create you 90 different modes… the maps are there.
They don’t use them.
Seriously , don’t try to tell me orange is red now. It’s boring to argue about stuff everyone that plays the game says and you always throw BS just to disagree…
I’m not even bashing GJ , i’m telling those modes THAT EXIST , release them for us to play.
Because the maps are already in game ,they don’t even have to work for it…
It’s not. It’s more you acting like a douchebag.
If you’re some history buff who gets physical ill looking at non period correct camo, decals or decorations. Then turn them off instead of going off your rockers.
It’s just a game. If people like their vehicles to be pink or orange or with monkeys on top, why would you care.
I don’t care if people put stupid shit on it I just don’t want constantly to see anime shit I’m saying that because for me it’s like I see them every match
There are legitimate differences and simplifications introduced to the game to appeal to a wider crowd.
Certain flight models got simplified (control stiffening/compression being made far more forgiving, especially in earlier aircraft models like Bf109s easily able to pull out of high speed dives), wing rips became more generous (I distinctly recall people disintigrating way more often in RB (and thus SB) a decade ago from pulling too hard), damage models made more fragile (it’s very easy to cut someone’s tail off when it should just be severing of tail controls).
Beyond this,
RB had its max timer reduced from 60 to 25 minutes.
Map design has taken a steep nosedive towards optimizing fastest time to engagement even at cost of tactical gameplay and punishing vehicles that require more methodical approaches.
Graphically, it’s also a step down. While it is arguably more “photorealistic”…
Oil covering and blinding your frontal windscreen is gone. You still get it dirty but it washes off immediately.
The clouds don’t precipitate onto your canopy windows anymore.
There’s no more bullet holes and spiderwebbing in your canopy from bullets that hit your armoured glass or crack open your cockpit to let you know “you only lived by virtue of divine grace.”
SB EC went from having an active developer to being abandoned.
Also I’m all for anime stuff. It annoys wehraboos with names that should have banned them from day 1 (inciting violence against living and breathing human beings), I will encourage people to decorate their bf109s and tigers with stupid stuff just for the wehraboo suffering.
Oh, really? I’ve been playing this game since 2011. Don’t tell me we’re lost!
Let me tell you a little story about trolls, haha!
In the beginning, when the game only involved planes, the developers tried to attract an audience, including sim pilots. They formed the core group of the first players. And it was hell. They were angry and narcissistic and reacted aggressively to all changes in the game aimed at a wider audience. Although Gaijin always made this kind of game, it was never a hardcore simulator.
When tanks appeared in the game, many new players joined, including those from WoT. At that time, the Pony clan was formed on the Ru forum. And it began a real war. XD These sim pilots called on the developers to kick them all out of the game. They wanted everyone banned.
I think this was the idea behind the first April Fools’ Day event in 2013 featuring flying ponies. The developers made their choice, and from that moment on, all the sim pilots disappeared. The game then turned from a niche project for a hundred history fanatics into one of the most popular games.
The game isn’t perfect and has many flaws, but I think it improved when it started attracting a wider audience.
From day one, the game has always been arcade. I know, I was here on the first day.
Has Gaijin gotten more money hungry? Yes
Has Gaijin neglected improving gameplay? Yes
Has Gaijin made very anti-player choices? Yes
“the game is loO00osing touch with all the g0oN3r skins and GoOneR decals and all the things that i personally dislike!!!”
The actual issue is that you’re tired of the game and pointing fingers at the most minor things that you personally don’t agree with as the cause of you own internal frustrations and failings. If the tiny amount of anime content was actually an issue, you would have disabled it and moved on with your day.
You instead came onto the forums to moan about a non issue. I implore you to look around the forum at countless posts outlining actual issues and to contribute to real discussion that could actually improve the game.
Homeboy I can’t choose to disable one thing If I choose to disable non historical stuff all of the funny faces that people are making with the nose art and every other decal it is not historical will also get disabled I just don’t like seeing anime stuff in my game everything else is fine I don’t care
The minimum maps today are larger than the average maps in 2015.
Not only that but infantry maps are 200x200 meters - 800x800 meters, the smallest WT map is still over 1x1km with the average being 2x2km.
Look here I just want more historical skins and stuff like that like look at the last Skins they have added for vehicles
And look what they did in a past
Is not that I complain about anime stuff it’s that most of the shit that there are adding cosmetically recently is genuinely low effort Like even a year ago they added multiple genuine historical skins for all of the Nations like Blue Angels and stuff like that and now it’s just this random stuf it looks like it was drawn by a child look here I’m not trying to argue in circles I’m saying is I just feel sad that people started ignoring historical/semi historical stuff
