Is time for Russia and China to cook at top tier RB?

The French Rafale has been the best jet at top tier for awhile now. It also seems that the UK, Japan and Israel could been getting one as well. This would of course be pretty unfair and games would be even more unbalanced than they currently are. Notably for Russia and China.

Therefore, I think it would be best if both Russia and China got the Su-35 next update.

The Su-35 would give both nations a very good air superiority aircraft at top tier air RB. This would make this more balanced right now, but also future proof both tress until we see things like 5th gen ect.

We could also see the Algerian Su-35, either as an event / squad or premium for Russia. Or maybe in the French tree if the Snail feels spicey, they do like giving France copy paste after all…

I could start playing the Su-35’s direct equivalent: Su-30SM2.
It’d be neat to have more fuel, but IDK what the extra fuel will do for the standard air RB length.

less countermeasurs and heavier than the Su-30SM2

Don’t worry, RU tree will get everything first for Balance

It’s also less draggy and has larger control surfaces.

Having less CMs would suck tho. :p

you probably wont notice the reduced drag

and for dueling the su35 will be worse, due to being able to carry more fuel

because that means that you will have a heavier fuel load at min fuel

It might be slightly noticeable in ARB.

The higher top speed would help as well.

Mmm, True.

China needs an un-nerf to the PL-12 more then a new jet.

Pl-15 you say?

Short answer. No

Long Answer. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Less draggy is currently conjecture, though probable.
Without documents, I don’t know which has less drag.

Edited with updated information.

the Su-35 wouldnt even change anything

in the end its just gonna be a heavier Su-30SM2 with less CMs and a MAW

it dosent have a larger wing span

It’s the principle of giving a tech tree that is already utterly stacked and bloated with options - then giving it even more stuff it didn’t need. Especially if Gaijin decide that they need to make the new toy a bit broken on top of it.

Pantsir SV says hi…

While plenty of other nations have got some pretty major gaps in their line-ups at top tier.

yeah, make players grind and entire new plane for a new missile to get past a completely arbitrary and baseless nerf of the existing missiles… sound about right for Gaijin.

Basically the OP seems to make a career out of horrendously bad takes.

This week he’s obviously managed to not crash his Su-30 on takeoff or managed to park it into an ally within the first 30s. Having got as far as the fight he has then had the crap kicked out of him by a Typhoon or Rafale driver. Probably more than once.

Ergo he thinks - ‘I am not the issue here - obviously I need stronger plane. Su-35 bigger number than Su-30 - so must be better. Gaijin pls add new thing.’

that is a myth bc ppl are conflating the wing span that is given for it with the Jamming pods as one without those
image

15.3 meters is given here for the Su-35 with the jamming pods
and 14.7 meters is what i can find for the earlier flankers

it is not a stretch to say that 2 jamming pods on the wing tips will add 0.6 meters to the wing span

Curious where the extra 1700kg of fuel goes if that’s the case.

SPAA cannot be OP because its job is to deal with CAS.

Also, Ron & I agree on the vast majority of things.
