Is there any way to spade the Tornado Gr4?

well not from you

yes from me, lmao. scroll back up

you create problems where there are none so you can play victim while trolling everyone trying to help you.

aha, type shit

“just win”

aha

or like, read the second part of the message? fuckin troll

you came to my post to tell me to “just win” lmao

that was the only enemy fighter i was ambushed by in the entire 2 hour long match, you are simply asking for solutions for problems that do not exist.

every other fighter encounter, i was the one ambushing and winning.

if you don’t want to come across a fighter, you won’t.

since when does flying high help avoid detection?

Good point i will try doing that more, but if the base is… yk on their side of the map thats quiet hard

warthunder players do not look upwards

true i just tell them in chat to please stop chasing me and that i don’t like that

good way to get your shit blown up by 50 missiles both enemy and friendly

then what do you suspect me of doing against fighters that are faster then me and have… yk a radar? fly to my airfield every time?

if it’s a PD radar just stay in the notch and they literally can’t see you, if it’s not PD and not MiG23 or MF1 just stay low and chaff every now and then.

not everyone beelines for every radar contact either.

Guys, get a room… = /

no

I haven’t done the GR.4 yet, but hear is what I’d do based on my experience with the Italian tornados:

Go sim and essentially play the bomber as intended by designers as low level interdictor going for bases. Use terrain as much as possible and always be under 60m.

First research BOL and compressor

Then MAW and litening 3.

Then 9M and Mk.13 LGB (or PW4)

From here you are pretty much home free and can play like this in ARB:

First lock on to a base of choice and toss your bombs there using GPS.

Then you should be at a decent altitude and somewhat behind the enemy team. Sweep down and get your 2 free kills with the 9M, and any easy gun kills.

Then rearm and repeat, you might not get a full base with the GPS method (unlike glorious Italian A-200C), so I’d recommend researching EGBU-24 and mixing the GPS bombs to get as much damage as possible. Unfortunately GR.4 doesn’t have JDAMs

GR.4 has paveway 4s, but for strictly basebombing you want to bring 2 PGM2Ks and 2 PGM500s for one base.

no need to be anywhere near the base with this, launch from 10km then go away.

You can toss bomb with any Tornado also just with dumb bombs, just maybe from not so far out.

I always carry 6x low drag and 6 high drag Mk.83, so enough to kill 2 bases in Sim. One target you can just overfly and lay down the retarded 1000-pounders, the other you can - if desired/required - loft the low drag bombs to, or also use a low altitude attack profile.
