Is there a good way of switching crews from aircraft main to tank main, crew level beyond 50 for non-bombers won't get wasted

Description: Air crews can only go up to 75 with full related skills. If you are playing non-bomber, it is even easier, 50 level is the max. So, any crew experience beyond 50(or 75) is going to be wasted because I designated that crew slot for air main in ARB and GRB.

I know there is no crew xp transfer from one to another, but how do I micromanage this situation? and make use of 5k+ crew level useful? Crew training is also expensive.

If you’re meaning you’ve got 5k crew xp points in Air, and you can’t use these in Ground or Naval crews… then you can, just select the Ground or Naval radio button and you can spend the points there (as the other post above shows, but gave no explanation)

This is useful if you have, for example, an aircrew with a prem plane or something you’re good with. You can gain a lot of Crew XP in AirRB and then spend those points on the Ground and Naval crew in the same slot.

Otherwise, if you mean you want that slot as Air only and can’t transfer points to other crews, then you can make the crew slot (that is Air) also good at Ground/Naval for a totally different BR lineup. Just use the additional lineup presets.

You can use the flip the lineuo method which is what I use.

For F2ps, I have plane lineups from the right and tank lineups from the left :D

Guys, I know I can spend those points for ground crew too. Problem is, they are my designated plane or tank slots. Once my air-designated crew is over 50, rest of the points are wasted, unless I retrain that slot for specific tanks.

Only like this

Buy the silver lion expert crew qualification and then RP gained starts going into the qualification to make the ace crew cheaper and eventually free. (note that each qualification is vehicle specific and does not mean that the same crew will be expert/ace on other vehicles)

use that slot for an attacker to use in GRB? why bother, having two planes in GRB is pretty much based

it will not be wasted as it will continue to grow until you decide to spend it on ground crew or fleet crew
tho if you mean you dont want to train ground crew or keep training air crew on that slot? You can do nothing here…

In the old days, you were able to bring fighter and bomber/striker plane without them affecting each others summoning cost. So I could bring some spitfire 24 and some bomber in the same game with low cost. I also started with Arcade Air so I think I had to train multiple crews. But it is not such horrible grind as I have multiple level 50+ air crew.

Here is the problem

  • Higher tier planes are terrible with low crew level. So, even if I had money to spare retraininng my F15-A to another crew slow, it would start with zero air crew skills. Let’s say I retrained my F15-A crew slot to also use some M1A1 variant. Then they will start with 0 ground crew skills, which will also be horrible. I think what I can do having 25 level air crew skills in all slots(fully leveled in first window of air crew skills) so I can train all slots together. Jumping from each crew slot to other with each plane.

As I said, those extra 5k points aren’t lost I know. But a new tank crew spending those 5k points won’t bring me to a good ground level in that slot. I know it is hard to explain, my wording is poor.

And air crew slots basically becomes mandatorily designated because you don’t want to grind a new jet plane with a fresh crew.

i do so myself now tho. F2G and AH-1 xD

cant you now? Im certain you still can.

all planes are tho

they wont, but you can still use a plane there and grind, idk, maybe 10k more points, and then use them to spend on ground crew. Same goes with tank crews. I myself have several 120+lvl ground crews, from which i spend points onto air. At some point i find it useless as i`ll likely never will use more than two air slots in any game mode. But that’s how it goes for me

all of them do really
