The hull is full of ammunition on the T58 I have it I can tell you how to kill it just ask
I really dont need tips for ground battles mate ive got enough thousands of hours.
a hull full of ammo isnt a dealbreaker in a hull down playstyle tank either
It isnt stabilize but it is stable at low speed. As long as you don’t hold down the W key then the gun won’t bounce around that hard. It’s similar to the american T34 or Tiger II. They arent stabilized but the gun still handle very well.
Did you try to aim right under the barrel there is a flat plate of armor that is only 90mm thick aim there or flank at range you have APDS use it it’s hard to use at ranges greater than 800m keep moving he will struggle to hit you or just use a geperd spray apds under the barrel I’ve died a lot to geperds you can pen it with it at 500m
I’m going to sleep see you tomorrow
I know from the somua to blast the hull. they are just an obnoxiously undertiered vehicle for me to see in a mk3 centurion. In a chieftain mk10 however its much more fair
Turm III is easy to kill, but it’s a fast stabilized 105mm APDS tank with a 30mm coaxial cannon which is cool.
The T58 is harder to kill, and the 3 second reload is best in class.
Turm a bit more agile but thats to be expected. T58 isn’t stabilized but this isn’t an issue with a 3 second reload.
T58 will go up in BR, but in years, and will still be good. The Somua experienced the same thing. Turm might also go up in the future, but not before the T58.
BTW, if you shoot the buldge in the back, does it detonate the ammo? In-game says theres nothing there but it’s clearly hitting something.
The issue is that the only Effective round at that B.R. (Higher) will be HEAT that is inconsistent in tearms of damage, pen, etc. Not to mention detonating on solid objects like bushes, fences.
Additionaly, big turret that has weakspots all over it that allow for You to be killed before being able to shoot at the enemy.
The thing I like about T58 is that it is perfect to deal with light/SPAA vehicle spam
All this kinda gets overpowered by the 3 second reload. HEAT shell does nothing / hits ERA / hits fence? Then just shoot again.
It is all laugh and games till You hit that 7 ammo limit and have to reload and enemies keep coming.
Or where there is a fence between You and the enemy so he can shoot through it while You can’t
It appears to get blowout panels I got hit there with full hesh and had a ammunition cookoff like a blowout panel and lived but killed all the ammunition I had in the rear
Can someone please confirm if it does get blowout panels
T58 is insane compared to some other tanks at the same, or only slightly varied, BR range. It should absolutely have it’s BR raised; though it being a premium, it will likely only increase after a fair amount of sales.
One such tank it should not be close to BR with is the M551. It’s insane to me that the M551 and T58 are only .3 BR apart; especially considering the M551 was just nerfed as well with it’s UAV being removed in it’s entirety.
The XM800T got moved up to 8.7 recently and I wouldn’t mind the Turm III joining it.
t58 should have its internals modelled - the autoloader should be destroyable
also nerf the reload while at it
Oscillating turrets don’t have modeled autoloaders, the 2 or 3 second reload is real and the ready rack has only 6 or 7 shots
Yes, had it happen to me several times.
No way 😭
and they should
reload speed is a balancing metric
The thing I hate about that “balancing” is that it bends reality.
There are game aspects like BR, what nation they face, their team, spawn points AND MORE that are best balancing feature in a game, modifing a vehicle is very poor and cheap solution.
Imagine you read something about the Turm III, see what it can do, you play a game and find out it’s missing 3-axis stabilization. It’s poor in-game implementation, give it what it should have and move it up BR.
Chopping a vehicle is one of the worst solutions to a simple problem.
Do you want to help me test if the t58 has blowout panels later also I believe it’s autoloader is modeled as I have had mine taken out before
I’m sorry for my late response but I did not get a notification or an email about your message.
I’d be glad to test it out if you still want to, I’ll have time from 15:30 to 22:00 or 3:00 PM to 10 PM right tomorow.
