Is the (Russian) Su-30MK2 and new (Chinese) Su-30MKK Premiums the same or different?

So since the Chinese got their new premium tier 8 jet I wanted to know if the new Chinese Su-30MKK is an exact copy and paste as the Russian premium Su-30MK2? Or are they both slightly different aircrafts in terms of missiles and ariel performance?

well that chinese got better long range missiles by a mile.

R77’s are better on close range, but on bvr pl 12 is a lot better.
So no, basic R77’s are nothing special.
So yes, cos of those missiles that chinese is actually better compared to soviet prem version.

Same goes on R73 vs PL8. R73 is better on close range , but lacks range, and pl8’s are less effective on close, but they got range advantage

The PL-12 is built off of leaked/captured AIM-120C documents, it has nothing to do with R-77

Actually nope.
R77 is closer, since it was first made with collabrition with Vympel . (seeker)
But later versions doesnt use russian parts anymore.
And pl12 has a lot less drag compared to R77

80% of a fox 3 is the kinematics, and literally none of the missike body, motor or control surfaces come from Russia or the R-77, it’s all clearly based on the AMRAAM series

Tldr: the chinese one is more P2W due to better missiles.

Pretty sure the r-77 seeker thing was only for the original sd-10

SD 10 is just a export name for PL 12-
And like I wrote. Early PL12 versions used R77 seekers least on public information since they made that missile with assistance of Vympel.

So chinese cant make missile body better compared to russians who decided to place huge airbrakes behind that R77? :D

They did have a lot of missile body tech before hand, but lacked on seekers on ARH missiles, so vympel was logical helping hand in that side.
So yeah, it is not amraam.

Pl-12 is not sd-10.
Sd-10a is export pl-12.

I just wonder if its gonna go up in br to 13.7 because of that, especially with rank 9 coming early next year
