i’m planning on getting it if it’s good for printing SL. my highest jet that i have is the 8.3 BR american sabre. i’m well aware that i’ve haven’t had any experience in the 12.3 BR range but since there is a sale currently right now, i figure that i should get it regardless. i’m well aware that it’s gonna take a lot of practice with it. but for the sake of long term (once i’m good enough for the 12.3 BR bracket). will it be good to get it just for earning SL ?
Yes. One of my highest earners per game.

In BVR it should work at the very least fine due to upgraded radar + 27Rs, but I have to yet meet one in missile joust.
For WVR tho, Its one plane which i actively avoid dogfighting, even with advantage. MiG-21s are famous for their one circle turn capability, and now you have 2x TVC IRCCM missiles + HMS on top of that.
Its great plane but a premium tank is generally more efficient at grinding SL from my experience
