Is the kfir c10 a good plane?

i thinking about buing it but idk if it good or not i want yo know your opinion

yes its good 4 Fox 3s aesa radar and good speed at 13.0 tho keep in mind you do only have 4 missiles and they are some of the worst fox 3s in the game so knowing how to not waste your missiles is very important.

I would say no. It is a below average jet with no redeeming qualities and for somebody who hasn’t built up a lot of experience at top tier I would say that its just a waste of money

yes

i heared it has a good radar

A good radar only helps you soo much if you don’t know the basic mechanics. The highest you have gotten in terms of aviation is the Su33 (no shame in that) and the playstyle is drastically different compared to the Kfir C10. And no the Kfir Canard is not a good comparison.

It’s a jet that needs quite a bit of knowledge and thought to perform well in it with plenty of downsides which most other jets at that BR don’t have.

ty i will save my money

I’d be interested if you had any other planes in mind that you were considering.

maybe kfir c2 i want israel plane or maybe f106A but only if it cost under 40 gaijin coin

F106A is a very good jet, only big downside is it not having flares and being at a BR where you start to encounter all aspect missiles.

Kfir C2 is the same story as with the C10. Low missile count but this time the performance is about on par with other fighters.

Both of these planes aren’t good grinders because they arent premiums. Just be aware of that

okey ty

What makes you think they are some of the worst?

In terms of range it is one of the worst, but with the speed of the Kfir it is not so noticeable.

Derby/r-darter, R-77 and mica have roughly the same effective range. But range never was an important meta defining aspect.

Derby is the fastest accelerating AMRAAM after the mica, and its agility is slightly above the PL-12 and below R-77 which is still very good.

Derby is a very effective missile if not for some major tracking bugs that is severelly affecting it in some situations.

Answering the OP’s question. The kfir C10 and su-27 are the best 13.0 and are arguably undertiered and very OP when facing planes just 0.3 BR below them, or even some bottom of the barrel 13.0

Against non-maneuvering targets yes, they all reach the enemy with less than a second of difference, but with the DL thanks to the radar, range does matter.

It really isnt

The Darter is a nice missile, but compared to the rest its the Yak-3 of missiles, good at everything excelent at nothing

This can’t be right, the derby has definitely more agility than the AAM-4 off the rail by a big margin. And its roughly on par with the PL-12 at slow speeds and slightly better at high speeds off the rail

Feel free to test it yourself, here is a range comparation too

Did you do that video?

If I HOBS fight with Derby against AAM-4 the Derby will come on top every single time. I have used and tested every missile.

AAM-4 is above the AIM-120A/B and C but below everything else in turn capability off the rail.

Edit:
I re-tested and it really seems to be the case, the derby is locking up very fast at speed and has trouble pulling due to the speed in gains with its acceleration. It’s weird because I remembered testing them a year ago and the AAM-4 didn’t pull AoA like it does now IIRC. (were any changes done recently?)

At slow speeds, it still pulls nicely but the AAM-4 can pull more AoA, although it will have slower acceleration.

Still, I don’t think it’s a bad missile, mainly because of its acceleration and good HOBS performance. I usually prefer them over aim-120 (if only they fixed the tracking issues)

Not that i can remember

No fox 3 is a bad missile, is just that you have S+ tier and B tier

I always use the GB´s Gripen because of the Darter for tournaments over the Sweden one for this sole reason, the lack of pull of the 120 really brings down the overall performance
