I have not looked too much into how it functions, but if it can fire more than 6 round continuously, then it would make sense that everything would be ready rack, not just 26 rounds.
It definitely needs some more capacity, trying to split apfsds and proxy shells sucks.
has there been any bug report regarding the round performance or delta 3 round on hstvl
From my understanding, it says 5 in the time discrepancy because the 6th is already loaded into the breech. Basically, the HSTV-L has a turret basket, full of 26 munitions. It loads 6 of these into a cylinder that holds 6 rounds, (20+6), which then are loaded one by one into the breech. They cannot unload the round from the breech realistically.
Which is where I ask myself. is 20+6 the full load it can bare? Or just realistically speaking, thatβs what they tested combat wise. Itβs a rapid deployment vehicle, so it needed to be lightweight as possible. And plus after the revolving cylinder loaded the 6 shells, then 1 into the breech, that should make space for 6 extra shells in the basket that could be loaded if needed, depending on the order of how they went about testing it.
For those who are wondering, Iβd advise against using secondary sources too for topics like these, including people like Spookston or LP or whoever pops up on the front page. Who he interviews or the sources he links is a different story based on what they worked on it. Though, keep in mind, validating these sources is necessary too. Just going to get that out of the way. Getting the research yourself is crucial.
