Im currently at 12.3 Germany Ground, but my air tree is quite lacking, my best German plane is either the first 335 or the 109F4. So I looked at the F18s loadouts, and from what I see its pretty good on loads, But I also would like someone who actually has the Plane to say if I should pick it up or Not and if its good enough to buy now or wait till everything is 50% off

check the loadout stats if it has a bunch of cas stuff get it
probably the best option that you can get with only money
but yeah defo wait for the sale if you do want it, it might be on sale within the next 4 months and definitely will be in 4 months at christmas

It has appropriate A/G weapons for its BR. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about.
I’d consider it the best (or better: only viable) option for CAS for Germany at that BR.

If you dont mind having constant uptiers, facing su30mkk/mk2/sm/sm2/mkm, facing hordes of free s1, facing sm sv and multi vehicle sams, having missile which either “hits” or gets intercepted, being even worse than us hornets at 12.0 (check loadouts) then ye sure.
Some people said its only option and they are right I guess. But it being only option doesnt really make it any more worth buying. If hypothetical a10c became premium and was only option for us, it would still be horrid overtiered slop.
I would advice you thinking twice before buying it and going through all stuff I highlighted so you dont regret it like my friend did.
none of the hornets are exactly wonderful for ground strike.
you get mavericks which are honestly quite long in the tooth by 11.7. i use them on harrier T10 and they are easy to intercept for SPAA by that BR, a hornet is in a similar boat but against even more OP SPAA options in normal ground battles
