Sit on burner until 7-10km, launch at 35-40km, guide them in for as long as you safely can then get out of there? If they fixed the 120C-5 and added BOL it would be a lot better imo but I don’t think it’s unplayable

TWS+ is a buggy mess and doesnt work right on anything. That is supproted by multiple other players who play other aircraft too. Many have already commented in this thread
Exactly the tactic I use on the Typhoon to get 2-3 kills.

Sounds like more of a skill issue on your end if you struggle with multiple aircraft.
How is it that I list all of those jets with the same TWS+ function and manage to play them just fine, and the F-15I is a outlier, while you struggle with ALL TWS+ jets you play?
The common denominator is clear.
I’ll probably hold off on playing for now since it isn’t in a good place in the meta right now and I already have the F-15C which id like to get better at. If something actually happens with the 120C-5 I’ll definitely pick it up though

They were fine before (except the Typhoon, that was always a buggy mess, didnt even get a radar until July) and now they bug out all the time. What changed? TWS+ was added.
If that is your default answer. Then this convo is over. F-15E is fine, should be at 14.3. Its a skill issue if you are struggling to play it

Again you are speaking from 0 experience as you have never played the F-15.
If you are dying to a aircraft with a faulty radar, the skill issue is on your end.
idk, it’s performance is pretty awful outside of speed, it’s armament is mediocre and it’s radar is far from the best but works enough to get by

Tried to play 13.0s after the BR changes, Every match got uptiered to face F-15Es that just steam rollled. The only aircraft that can compete with an F-15E are those at 14.3 except the F-15Cs which quite frankly. Shouldnt be 13.7. Compared to the Gripens, F-16s, etc. They are just too good for 13.7
It has 100% identical loadout to the Typhoon (superior if anything thanks to being able to run 8x AMRAAM) Compared to a lot of 13.7s, Its very good
Exactly. It works. Actually holds some pretty major advantages over several 13.7-14.3 aircraft like much better scan volumes.
Light fighter vs heavy fighter, the Gripens have a major defensive advantage. And F-16’s are not quite as good as BVR but not that far off either, and imo are better for low altitude stuff
Just remember this whenever you die to a Typhoon in the F-15E. The Radar doesnt work half the time and the other half of the time. its switched to IRST and blocked you from firing an AMRAAM
yeah and in the same update they messed up all other TWS too, to the point that TWS+ is actually better than many planes normal TWS

It was briefly.
But its been bugging out like crazy once again
I need to work on a bug report for it once again I think. Ive noticed issues for weeks. Was waiting for the major, to see if it finally gets fixed

Makes sense because it’s 14.0, it isn’t that much better anyways it’s 2 more missiles which are only effective without you dying in BVR where missiles have less PK

This guy is talking in circles and constantly contradicting himself while never have even touched the F-15 platform to begin with.
Maybe both are bugged out right now
