If Martlets are all they are made out to be, then I’m really looking forwards to the modernised Wildcat, and eventually the Ah Mk2, looks to be distant hope though given the lack of developer statements about
top tier british helis (since the removal of starstreak first spawns lol)

There’s primarily a model difference, as I’ve stated.
That research needs to be finished and the model made, and sadly it might not be ready for this update.
It is unknown if British AH-64E will get LDIRCM. I dont think it has been decided either way and it could still get them in the future if they decide not acquire it. We will simply have to wait and see.
However, as we have seen multiple times before in-game. if a vehcle is missing native capability, but another nation operating the same vehicle gets it, then so can the original one.
Britain has 0 helis with DIRCM currently. Ergo, I dont think it would be unreasonable for Gaijin to give Britians AH-64E LDIRCM to keep them competitive with the direct equivalent AH-64E in the US tree.
