Shoot the tracks and keep shooting the tracks. If players weren’t so stupid at this game it wouldn’t be an issue. Oh a Maus, yes, let’s all cower in our spawn point like 14 year olds who’re playing paint ball for the first time.
I used to attack medium and heavy tanks with my bosvark and then run away, while more capable tanks hid like cowards.
It’s 5BR so it will only ever see 4.0 BR in a down tier never 3.7 .Like any fully down tiered tank in the right hands it will probably runaway with the game but that is War Thunder for you.Germany have suprisingly little that is fast and mobile and useful to attack .Maybe why they do so badly when it comes to winning games. They also have no 5BR line up so the VK will most be in with 5.7 anyway as a sort of German M18 Hellcat
Even in a perfect angle, you can shot his tracks, cupola or wait he aim his slow turret for shot in the frontal weakspots or disable his barrel.
The most common is if someone try angle his hull expose too much his side and reveal the weakspot.
Personally i never see semeone trying angle the Panther, a tank well know for his extremly weak sides.
I didn’t really like the vehicle when I played it. It doesn’t have much armor over a Sherman and doesn’t really get a stabilizer or traverse that would make it comparable. The VK3002 and the Panther D are more like tank destroyers than anything else.
that would prolly suck, so it’s a good thing VK 3002 is one of the fastest tanks in its BR range, has one of the the strongest cannons of anything within its BR range, has very strong armor that only a handful of Vehicles (namely Firefly and Sherman FL-10) can penetrate, and btw has nearly double the turret traverse than M10, and unlike M10, it has a roof.
The mobility doesn’t really matter when you can barely resist a Sherman at your BR. And while i’m not opposed to the vehicle going to 5.3, I think BR decompression would help more.
I still think the Sherman 76mm is better though. I loathe the VK3002. It sucks to play.
Guess that’s fair. I myself have never been a fan of the 76mm Shermans, although many love them. I fully understand why ppl wouldn’t wanna VK3002 play with its slow reverse and traverse. Regardless of how fun or unfun someone views the VK 3002 to be, it’s still extremely oppressive in downtiers, even more so than some of Warthunder best heavy tanks.
