I’ve been having a pretty rough time playing the big three. The US is boring, I don’t like Germany’s heavies and the gun depression issue with Russia is so annoying. I wanted a nation which had unique, fun vehicles but also capable vehicles. I landed on Italy. So far up until 4.0 it’s been a pretty enjoyable experience. I like some of the fighters too and they have some good CAS options from the looks of it. I just wanted to know if its a good nation to grind. I know Italy has some BR gaps and their top tier isn’t the best. But is Italy worth it to grind? I do like flanking and light tanks are my favorite vehicle type in the game.
I heard it was rubbish, but played it and it was so much fun. Would recommend the spaa and light tank lines

Sweden! They have a lot of unique vehicles and some with quick loading autoloaders. You also get APDS at low ranks and even has a mid-tier CAS (A-21A-3) with CCP bomb capability!
Back in the day the IKV 91 (laser range finder with it’s HEATFS round and the early jet (A-21RB), beating on WW2 and early cold war German/Russian/USA heavy tanks…that was good times before it got moved up in BR.
I haven’t been a fan of the low tier Swedish vehicles, especially the tank destroyers, the guns are good, but the zoom of the optics and the grind to actually get the APHE was too tedious for me so I just left it. I guess I could use the Finnish panzer IV and the M24. To grind until I get better vehicles, and also I’m not really a fan of the Swedish air vehicles so far, they just aren’t good at anything besides firepower

I think you should examine what vehichles seem to be interesting to you. And get those.

Sweden doesn’t get another autoloader that’s uniquely swedish until about 9.7 with the CV9040
I don’t count event/prem nor the PBV 501 as it’s a BMP
Swedish air is pretty mid, besides if you want high tier Sweden air just go play any other nation that has a Gripen.
Tank wise I’d say they get fun around 8.7, 10.7, and 12.7 anything else is pretty mid without prem vehicles personally
I mean if you want to spend your time grinding to the end of the tree to have fun I guess you can. You may like a few vehicles here and there that fit your playstyle but I don’t think most lineups would fit you.

Demonstrably false though. There is the Bandkanon Nd the 3 different STRV-103 variants. So 4 autoloader vehicles.
I don’t consider the 9040 an autoloader more like a belt or what have you.

Technically the 9040 is auto loaded but the feed system has to have every round loaded manually. And for some reason gaijin doesn’t have the reload actually listed in the crew stats so people don’t know that if they are min crewed they reload the feeder more slowly which extends the already slow as hell reload time
You’re missing out. 6.0 to 9.0 has the most fun vehicles for many nations. It’s pretty much the only thing I play anymore (France mostly)
I like the Bkan but like the rest of the 6.x lineup is pretty forgettable imo. Not to mention the non existent 7.x lineup lol.
I’d kill for the AKV 151 to add at like 7.0
Also why play 9.0? It’s a pretty mid lineup, you’re better off with the T72 9040B, and 701 imo
Besides no Danish vehicles aside from the Chaffee and the worst 10.7 ground aircraft lol. 9.7 isn’t too bad but in general I have no interest in playing at 8.x when the T58 exists lol
Imo the best high tier lineups on Sweden, Hot take Leos just aren’t fun, they are alright but I find myself just abusing the T 80 U given it’s wonk damage model and acceleration are great. Also top tier is just super repetitive, besides I grinded for CVs as the focus
Also yeah France is super solid, French mains dog on it too much tbh, it’s pretty fun, though would like a 6.x SPAA that’s actually an SPAA and not a glorified IFV
The M4 still seal clubs at 7.0. it’s so funny killing king tigers who think they are invincible.
Yeah I use it with the EBR 1954, the ELC is kind of the king tho for me at that BR such a good vehicle
Yes let’s rephrase it by saying it has a quick reload. If you have the SAV 20.12.48 with 1.2 sec reload, it’s fun.
The IkV 103 at 4.0 with HEATFS with 400mm of pen, a SPAA LvKv 42 with 95mm of pen can be a great combo also.
In the end it’s whatever they choose.
IKV in my experience is super hit or miss, it either nukes a tank or gets all of its spall eaten by a fuel tank.
