Is it too much to ask to fix US Ground top tier?

To each their own, I suppose.

KVT is a very good tank and belongs where it is.

KVT is a copy pasted M1 Abrams and has the same drawbacks, the only reason you might seem them around more is bc its a premium.

I know, the same applies to the M1.
They are perfect where they are.

The Israeli and Ravne modified T-55 (M55S) from Slovenia survived the same.

The reload makes up for the weaker shell, in fact it makes the Abrams better than the Leopard because firing first is better than doing more damage,

They did go up in BR last BR changes, from 10.0 to 10.3. The M1 doesn’t need to go down, since the general conclusion is that it is one of the better tanks at it’s BR.

Reload doesn’t change firing first it changes who follows up first. To leroys point you have a tank 2A4 which will have a faster first shot capability because it can pen almost anywhere on an abrams (some angles might not.) vs a tank that can pen the hull and gun mantle.

There isn’t much of a difference in available target size but too who has a higher first shot chance it would be the leopard.

KVT is much more maneuverable, faster, and has a faster reload than the 2A4 and T80B (turms and UD included, UD lacks thermals as well). The tradeoff being weaker armor in some spots, but really it’s negligible.

Second shot capability is huge, and something the Abrams has over many tanks. This gets overlooked a lot.

That’s not true at all anymore. It was like that before they added Hydraulic Pump, it was on same level as the 2A4, but after that, on every shot to the hull, you get turret locked and cannot aim and fire back 90% of the time.

No it’s not worse.
It has better armor profile than 2A4 and basically trades raw penetration for reload speed. When you compare it to T-80B, it has worse armor and shell but gets much better gun handling, reload speed, gun depression, reverse speed, ammo compartmentalization, etc.
M1, 2A4 and T-80B are pretty similar tanks and should always stay at the same BR.

Most tanks got moved up with this decompression, including those you’ve just mentioned.

I disagree alot, 7.7 - 9.0 was the worst for me in terms of US BR. It didn’t get better till the XM803 which was way more fun and mobile enough. M60’s were just slow trash that got penned by everything imo

In some cases it’s better, in other cases it’s worse.

there armors not the best but it can take some punishment sometimes and it can hit pretty hard with heatfs and honestly the AOS is pretty mobile IMHO

Well they haven’t done anything against the upper Front plate either

While bouncing shots aren’t a thing anything coming from above will instantly go through it

While a redesign probably isn’t Worth it they could atlest have given it the strv122 treatment and put a bit of composite on Top

I’m spading the M60A3 TTS

I personally think it’s pretty good, note that I was still using the M735 and not yet M774, and it already has enough juice to punch through everything I see especially German vehicles. It also has the best optical zoom out of all the 9.0 I’ve played. I also took average 2-3 atgm hits from helicopters before death

Even reached nuke requirement with it

agree, i have to fight t90ms and leo2a7s alone because all clickbaits leave the game.
and we need new spaa that is as effective as pantsir, or adats can only kill drones and helis.

It’s decent, but then there’s the CM11, which is .3 BR higher, and gets DM63 with a 5s reload.
In an uptier, the TTS is quite mediocre (if not, straight-out bad), as it does not offer anything unique.

That’s BR compression in a nutshell, just compare Leopard A1A1 with 1A5 or T-62M-1 and T-72A, both of which are 0.3 BR apart but are pretty different.
