Is it just me or does the R-77 need buff

We’ve all been waiting for the R-77 Missile. We finally got but of course it has to be weak. I say it should be a mixed with the R-27ER & the AIM-120A

It doesn’t need a buff but just needs to be fixed. War thunder doesn’t support variable drag at the moment which limits R-77 from reaching its full capacity.

Eh, tbh not really. Yes it worst BVR missile you can get and just plain “good” for pitbull slings, but Imo main “issue” is not the missiles itself, but it carrier - radar of J-11A and Su-27SM (idk how bad or good the situation with 29SMT. Funny enough Yak-141 also suppose to have them, just wanted to add this bit) doesn’t allow effective BVR and HMD, in my experience, locks the target just half the time (not to mention being just 10km. Yes, I know about the switch from IRST trick, but it extra load on you, the pilot, whos already under heavy load in 20km engagement range)

R-Darter is much worse, other than that I agree the R-77 needs to be fixed, it doesn’t so much need a buff
