Isn’t a cheat. You just didn’t CAS him properly.
Jokes apart seems to be some kind of desynchronization bug. This happens when shooting someone or dropping a bomb.
Like me: I’ve got flipped by a flammable bomb, Napalm but not a single damage.

actually, it was well within the kill radius even a 100lbs bomb could kill that if it landed on top or underneath it

Just a Bug, happened to me while playing the Sherman Jumbo, I just fliped, I was amazed how I didn’t die.

You see this through all BRs. Best for me I have put a 2k Lb Paveway into a Merkava (as in, pegged the tank to the ground) and all it damaged was it’s optics.

In the past, I had friends who destory tanks with German 50kg bombs
I don’t know if bombs are affected by the same mechanics as shells for being able to penetrate, but I’ve found that if I’m below a bomb because of a slope I’ve been able to survive even if it was close. I don’t if this is because my armor value was increased due to my vehicles angle to the blast.
I remember a few years back, they had adjusted the PE8 big bomb so that it would destroy anything within a given radius, regardless of obstructions or buildings, slopes etc. I remember entire teams getting obliterated by these things even though you were no where near the actual blast.
